I just set up a Titan chassis in my home studio and I’ve connected it to my computer via USB for control of the Wes Audio Hyperion I inserted into the Titan’s 7/8 slots and I have the Wes Audio Calypso inserted into the Titan’s 9/10 slots so that I can take advantage of that modules’ ADAT I/O to be able to be patched through the chassis’ I.A.C. connection on the 10 slot. I have the ADAT connected between the Calypso module, and my Presonus Quantum 2626 using 4 Toslink cables.
I am not sure if this is the “proper” way to feed audio from one module to another, but I was able to use Studio One’s SPLITTER tool to feed one instance of Pipeline XT, routing signal out of the DAW to the desired module in the Titan Chassis, then loading another instance of Pipeline XT directly under the first instance and feeding the signal to subsequent modules, and in this way I was able to chain signal between modules with no apparent latency that I could detect.
Please, let me know if there is another (better) way that is the recommended “preferred” manner to route signal between modules loaded into the Titan. I cannot find a way to do it with the Calypso ADAT GUI nor can I pass signal from the first module getting signal via ADAT and Pipeline XT to another by simply connecting XLR patch cables on the rear of the chassis.
Any help/info would be greatly appreciated

Really cool demo vid on how to mix hybrid within Pro Tools. I just so happen to be entering that world as I got a new Titan and Dione on their way to my home studio this week so this was very helpful in learning how to route this correctly within and outside of Pro Tools. Another quick question I have is did you have to punch in numbers for delay compensation in the I/O settings for each track that has the hardware on it as inserts? Just wondering if I need to adjust that so I'm hearing it without latency when monitoring and when its printed? That would be a cool video if you guys had time to do up something like that with the same hardware you used as well. Thanks!

Depends. With Avid hardware, the system will detect the latency. Other hardware, you'll want to ping with a tone the setup to determine and measure the latency.,

@@CapitalMusicTechnology Sounds good! I’ll try that when I get the hardware! Thanks!!

Hello Chad, thanks for sharing this with us. This really is an exciting development in the world of Hybrid audio.
Apologies for asking such a basic question, however, once you are happy with the mix on an individual track would you still need to print that tack and move on to the next track, or, can you use the WES Audio plugins like an ITB plugin on each track then bounce your master bus to include all your processing moves?
