They feel like they have to "other them" in order to distance themselves from them. They don't want to think about the possibility it could happen to them. I had the same mindset and what do you know, I found myself in the same boat. Humble yourself always or the universe will do it for you.

Call upon the Lord, Only God can save and help us in our darkest time. I was addicted to drugs and I could seem to get free, but I was tender to The gospel of Jesus Christ and I cried out to God to deliver me and He did. It truly was a miracle and God didn’t just stop there but continued to draw me to Him and into an even greater deliverance which was being delivered from the power of sin. God then lead me to seek the Holy Spirit baptism. God blessed me with a Christian husband and we’ve been married now for 21 years! So, please trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

Katie did an awesome job on what I believe is her first time as an interviewer on this channel. She showed compassion, kindness and a gentle questioning approach as well as really providing the time for thoughtful responses. Her prompt for what little moments might bring joy tomorrow were helpful. It was nice to see you work as a team. I pray this woman is able to find the path back to her children and to enjoying the little things that we sometimes take for granted. It would be wonderful to have an update. Do you ever keep in touch with any of the people you interview?

I grew up in severe poverty and at 5 I was in a bad accident that gave me a traumatic brain injury. I had learning and nutritional difficulties while going to public school with rich British kids. The shame and low self worth could have destroyed me but I carried on and failed school and failed at life. I see my disappointment and frustration in this girl because times are harder than I can even imagine.
Rich and retired I made it through the storm with two degrees and 25 years working Psychiatric and behavioural. I can say that when you are in a storm you need to constantly see yourself making it out someday. We manifest our destiny and this girl has that mind set and applaud her for that. She should seriously consider moving to another city in another state; perhaps Utah where the communities are family friendly and the LDS churches could help her with the relocation and help provide for her daycare for her children and help her get a job and provide housing subsidies for a year to help her with economic recovery.

What is real is it takes money to do everything, even breath(if you have asthma). Look at how they have conditioned people in to buying water because the tap water is not healthy long term or fir truly hydrating yourself, it costs money to even stay hydrated. I hope a life changing event helps her find her way because that is what it takes, a hand up or lump sum and a job. Prayers for her.

Rich, I sometimes ask the people I interview if they have a paypal. However that is a determination only I make.. not everyone i interview can have an onslaught of donations specifically if they are dealing with something that can overdose them. In other words, i know when i can and can’t ask that question. For young people who are able bodied i would not ask them for that. I reserve that for people who are absolutely in need like elderly or disabled. I can’t sit here and have you guys make donations unless i am certain and in the case of them… i didn’t find it appropriate to ask that question if they use or not. Some people in the comments are saying they might use so.. like i said.. when i interviewed someone elderly in need they will get the chance to have their paypal or cashapp on the video. Keep watching.. its a question i ask on some videos.

This young lady is pretty. So sad to see those track marks up the vane in her neck. She just doesn’t understand she is one of Gods children. There’s no void that can be filled with drugs. When life feels too much to stand. Try kneeling.. 🙏❤️‍🩹

Poverty and homelessness can only be resolved with " HOUSING FIRST !"
It's a group effort, jomnt community efforts, nationwide assistance.
To house all 770,000 homeless people in apartment complexes for a year in the country, you would need $3 billion dollars.
$4 million with food and grocery assistance.

For me, if I ask that question, I want to know that my efforts and resources are not going to waste if I invest in helping you.
If people don't have intentions of seeking or keeping employment, then you can't help people who refuse to get out of the street life !
Currently there are 770,000 homeless in the country as of 2024 .

At some point homelessness becomes a bum. To lazy to take control of your life. In the United States Americans have become to comfortable being a victim or feeling empowered by their poor choices such as drug and alcohol abuse. To separate the professional bums from the mentally ill and truly downtrodden the state + communities need more resources to these people. Allowing the continuous of bums holding signs for free money and people taking up public space with tents needs to cease as an acceptable norm.
