3:59 I actually saw a follow up to this snow board story (I live in the US). To make it even worse the guy lives NEXT to a ski resort. He claims he has people on his property all the time. As the video shows there’s no signs saying it’s private property or showing where the ski property ends and his begins. But I guess he has pulled his weapon on multiple people who made this same mistake, I think at least 9 had some forward so far. After seeing the video the local police dept got involved and the guy is being investigated and probably charged. The police are also working with the ski place to help figure out where the property line is and clear it up so it doesn’t happen again…..which is nuts, it shouldn’t happen once, twice, or 10 freaking times. ‘Merica
But knowing the police they'll probably let him off with a warning and then in the future he'll wind up actually shooting and killing someone. Because he looked mentally unstable in the that clip. Only then the police actually might take action. The police here in the UK are just as bad they're won't take action until something really bad happens. Even then it is like getting blood out of stone getting them to actually come out when you call the emergency number.
@Cowboy_Frog security guards are normally chill because 1. Most dont carry guns unless its a bank, prison and sometimes rarely stores that has high amount of violence. 2. They dont have the same right to use force as police officers so tend to try to deescalate more than anything. 3. Any guard that has power trips, are racist, sexist, ect. Dont last long in the field because they work for a business that dont want that sort of attention and could be sued for hiring them. Its rare to get a dickhead security guard and alot of the time people that are mad at security are mad they got kicked out a store for shoplifting, was asked to leave the property after hours after loitering, or something like they were ask to move their vehicle because they parked in a non parking area ect.

Isnt tresspassing like half allowed in the uk? I remmeber reading something like you can tresspass on private land but you have to be traveling through and not just sitting there, and if the owners ask you to leave then you have to or it becomes a legal issue.
Are you talking about public right of way? I don't know the rules in any detail at all but yeah you can pass through some privately owned areas like fields but not over most land used for housing and stuff.
well, tresspass is a civil offence, so you can go pretty much anywhere you want on open land, and if the landowner wants to sue you , then it is at his cost. Don't break into any buildings or damage anything, tho. And if you are a landowner, don't point any guns at people.
7:16 Homeowners Associations are an American thing where they have power over a section of residences and can set rules and fines for people that live in their area. Mostly they’re known for giving out fines for the most unimportant things

3:54 I live in the south east of america and a lady shot at me with a shotgun even though I wasn't even on her property, people in america will pull their guns on anyone for any reason and it's so scary, I'm all good though 👍
Most Americans do not own a single firearm. That’s a stereotype based on very rare cherry-picked anecdotes of trigger-happy lunatics shooting people for no reason. Legal gun owners in America actually commit far fewer crimes, on average per person, than people who don’t own firearms. The vast vast majority (about 80%) of gun crimes committed in the United States are committed by illegal gun owners.

Where i live all of the mountain is private property. However, locally its an unspoken pact between the owners and whoever decides to go into the mountains that they are free to wander around as long as they dont fuck up anything in the mountain, be with motorcycles, litter, or other activities.
I could be the only one with this opinion, but I think the videos are a little too quiet or your mic track is a little too loud. Maybe my hearing is just shot though haha! Still a great video as always!
7:50 I saw this one somewhere else, the tenant was actually leaving everything turned on and taps running on full while at work to spite the landlord, which is why the bill was soooo high. The water board ended up investigating the property suspecting a major leak in the area and discovered it was a deliberate act and produced enough evidence for the landlord to take it to court and win.
3:57 It varries by state, but you actually can't usually just shoot people on your property. you can't set up traps, and if the area has been established as a short cut or area that lots of people go onto, you might actually get in trouble (sued) if they get hurt. This drasticaly depends on the state. I'm guessing in stand your ground states, you can shoot and then just say you felt threatened. IDK, I've only ever been to one red state (conservative state), and it was not an extreme red state. Also, even if a state is blue (liberal), you might find that it's really only liberal in the more populated areas. if you go to the rural areas, you might be more surrounded by conservatives. You can usually easily spot a red state vs blue state by looking at their electroial choices for presidential elections. Ultimatly, in the US, state laws can vary drastically and usually depends on whether the state tends to lean toward liberal or conservative. So, if a state voted for Biden, expect stricter gun control laws, better access to abortion, etc. In a state that voted for Trump, you'll have easier access to guns and abortion may be illegal. When something is federally protected by the federal government, states can't really override that. So like, a state can't make it illegal for you to have freedom of speech because it's a constitutional right.
The gun one is, from what i found, illegal. You aren't allowed to point any kind of weapon at anyone, even if they're trespassing, unless they attack you first. You can still carry a weapon (if you're properly licensed, of course) on your property.
In the US you can get shot when you enter someone's pRiVaTe PrOpErTy, trying to return the handbag that their wife left on the roof of their car after retiring home, without any consequences whatsoever.
My new business model, Karens4Kids®™, requires 2 people for it to succeed: 1) An innocent child selling vastly overpriced candy (Sweets, to use the correct term). 2) An evil Karen figure to harass him. I'm sure you can work out the rest yourselves. My cut is 30% of every operation. No exceptions.
The snowboarder: IF that was in the US, yes. In most states you can threaten someone with a gun for being on private property. Provided you have posted signs warning people that tresspassers will be shot at regular intervals. This is not a free licence to kill, nor even shoot the gun at/near them. If you do that, it will go to court and you'll have to defend why you did. BUT it is NOT illegal to use a weapon to compel people to leave private property.
the "construction crane" video makes me so mad. from what i can tell, it actually looks like a boom lift, a sort of cherry picker. some poor person could come in on monday, elevate the platform, and potentially fall from a height resulting in death (possibly). meaning that lady could be up for manslaughter charges if that hap;pened. granted if she cut a hydraulic line, the lift probably wouldnt elevate, but still, them shits are not cheap, crime is crime
Boomers: "young people shouldn't be poor, they should just get a better job" Also Boomers: "in spite of the fact that I have had more time on this planet to earn money than most people, you should give me a discount because all I have is social security and the wealth I've accumulated over the last 60 years"
George, at 5:00 or whatever the timestamp is, an Ikon pass is a ski pass for some mountains in Utah, Wyoming, and I’m sure some other places, you can read more about the situation and the governors response by searching “snowboarder gets shotgun pulled on him in Utah” or something to that degree
And a link to KSL news reporting on that event, th-cam.com/video/oUV17H0U_y8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=J7CydNh2Inmp9wTC idk if youtube will allow or remove this comment but that’s a video about that entire situation
Do you need to bring any kind of proof that its actually your land or can you basically just claim it is where ever? Like "This line to the Burger King is private property and all of you need to leave!"
3:24 I'm not a lawyer, but I believe the law is along to lines of if the person with the gun has asked the trespasser to leave and they haven't, and have reason to believe the trespasser is a danger to the property and/or its occupants, they have the right to threaten force. They have the right to USE force, (I think including deadly) if self defence of defence of property is necessary beyond reasonable doubt. So this guy should not have had a gun out.
At 5:03, you're very wrong about that one dude!!! Though it really isn't a huge deal like you said, It's definitely a much bigger deal than you think and are making it out to be. I guarantee you that if you ran a poll on your TH-cam channel, people would be overwhelmingly in favor of NOT having someone reach across their personal space and stick their hands in their face!!! I do agree with you that looking out the window is fine and not a single soul should have a problem with a "fellow row passenger" looking out the window. It's not their failt that you're sitting there when they happen to want to look outside the plane!! So yeah, looking is fine and one thing, but if you want to take a picture, you should at least do the polite thing and ask them if they don't mind. That way you're not pissing off someone who you have to spend the whole flight with!! Because you may believe you're a badass or something, but you never know who that next person is and what extent they would potentially be willing to go to in order to upset you at least as much as you upset them. Cause some people get super offended over the smallest things!! They'll stop at nothing to get their revenge!! Be careful who you mess with!!!
3:55 "is that, like, legal?" Yeah. Look up the Trayvon Martin case. He was a 17-year-old kid who went up to the front door of a house to ask directions and the homeowner opened the door and opened fire. He was found not guilty of murder. Trayvon was Black, so that played a huge role in the case, but yeah. It's legal to shoot someone, even a child, for crossing an unmarked boundary in this country.
3:55 Depends on the state, I think. But some states do have castle doctrine, castle doctrine effectively means if someone invades your private property or house you can protect that property with whatever force deemed necessary. There was a tragic story of a 28-something year old woman being shot dead in her car because she pulled up on the wrong drive-way, thinking it was her house a year or two ago. Many American channels that does content reacting to living around the world have recounted their own stories of travelling abroad and being worried about walking across private land with international friends, precisely because where they lived it may very well be a death sentence if you don't know what the owner of the land is like. 7:15 HoA's are governing entities that govern neighbourhoods with the intent to retain high property value for the tenants or house owners. They do this by forcing homeowners in the neighbourhood to manage their property and keep everything looking nice and tidy and giving fines if the houseowners fail to comply. Could be anything from requiring you to mow your lawn every couple of weeks to straight up demanding you remove things from your property that don't comply, or require you to check in with them first before installing new things, like a fence for example. You can find something akin to a HoA else-where in the world but I think their overreach is only this strong in the US. Where I live in Sweden we have sort of a HoA. But their job is more to budget maintenance for the entire area (like snow ploughing the roads in Winter) and take a monthly fee that is used to pay for things that all residents care about like the aforementioned snow ploughing as well as all of our collective water bills.

Looking extra dapper today George
Rest assured, when I worked in dental radiology, we all had beers and wine in our hands at the company parties :D
Icon is a company that owns many mountains throughout the world, you can buy their pass to get ski lifts at all their resorts.
His laugh always gets me!
Bro the guy taking photos out the window is the worst...
Then you have no idea what bad is
3:57 It varries by state, but you actually can't usually just shoot people on your property. you can't set up traps, and if the area has been established as a short cut or area that lots of people go onto, you might actually get in trouble (sued) if they get hurt.
The 'lady' in the hairdressers behaved exactly like my 4 year old having a tantrum
In the US you can get shot when you enter someone's pRiVaTe PrOpErTy, trying to return the handbag that their wife left on the roof of their car after retiring home, without any consequences whatsoever.
Ikon is a ski pass used for multiple ski resorts in Utah. This boomer owns property right next to a resort.
Gorg you silly pookie ur a boom box
12:14 he doesn't look like a nighmare, he looks like he just woke up from one.
the "construction crane" video makes me so mad. from what i can tell, it actually looks like a boom lift, a sort of cherry picker. some poor person could come in on monday, elevate the platform, and potentially fall from a height resulting in death (possibly). meaning that lady could be up for manslaughter charges if that hap;pened.
granted if she cut a hydraulic line, the lift probably wouldnt elevate, but still, them shits are not cheap, crime is crime
You got a bad cut my friend 6:34
I almost got hit by a truck today lol
I lost my HGV license today lol
@@Glegh lol
Congrats!
Yeye cmon 👊
In Canada, it’s “make like a tree and fuck off” if you know, you know.
Boomers: "young people shouldn't be poor, they should just get a better job"
Also Boomers: "in spite of the fact that I have had more time on this planet to earn money than most people, you should give me a discount because all I have is social security and the wealth I've accumulated over the last 60 years"
"Ok Boomer"
"Ok Renter"
Me; "Ok nursing home candidate".
Best Reddit TH-cam channel
George, at 5:00 or whatever the timestamp is, an Ikon pass is a ski pass for some mountains in Utah, Wyoming, and I’m sure some other places, you can read more about the situation and the governors response by searching “snowboarder gets shotgun pulled on him in Utah” or something to that degree
And a link to KSL news reporting on that event, th-cam.com/video/oUV17H0U_y8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=J7CydNh2Inmp9wTC idk if youtube will allow or remove this comment but that’s a video about that entire situation
They can point a gun at someone without them knowing they are on private property
yea man
I can't believe I got here a minute after upload
6:34 what happened to your arm George?
Ignorance is no excuse in law. But you are no prosecutor, judge and executioner in one person.
4:10 this is why there are "private property no trespassing" signs, buddy invest in some
"Millenials will never own their own home"
Me, a millenial, owning my own home 😱😱
Nepo flex? 😂
George wear a maid dress
You freak
The human ego - making people dance like puppets.
If I had several billion I would just go around lowering property values by buing then selling at a loss
If you don’t have a fence in an area like that you are just begging for someone to unknowingly trespass.
'Ok renter' is lowkey funny
thing is george could be a boomer and be in this video but we’ll never know
At 5:03, you're very wrong about that one dude!!!
George saying "she didn't hit her just threatened her" yeah threatened to hit her George, come on dont defend weirdos
3:55 "is that, like, legal?"
Yeah.
The last picture made me laugh so hard that i almost puked....
Love him or hate him, that thumbnail pic goes hard
Why does the shouty woman trying to buy something sound like Kyle's mum from South Park? 14:23
14:23 pov the old lady from the mr bean cartoons
5:37 put urself in her position George, but like over 20 times
9:46 i’m sure that’s a boom lift
