6:10 I’ve been to this beach in Iceland before and, before you can even step foot on the beach, there are loads of safety warnings about the dangers of the beach. The reason why it’s so dangerous is because the undercurrent when a wave washes up on the shore is extremely strong. That’s why they were falling over when they were running back after taking their picture. If you get caught in it, you can very easily get dragged under the surface and caught in an underwater current. When I visited, everyone was just standing to the top end of the beach, going nowhere near the sea. It’s not a bear h that’s meant for swimming, really. Also, judging by what they did in the video (running back to shore after taking the photo) actually says that they did read the safety instructions before deciding to do that. They knew they had to run back up and that they weren’t meant to go near the water, but they did it anyway. They were extremely lucky that they didn’t get killed when doing that.
Regarding the squid ink that's about how permanent hair dye is if you get it on your skin takes a good week to come off. Good job that man didn't put it on his face.
6:10 so I've been to that beach, there are warnings EVERYWHERE and I was on a schooltrip so we werent even allowed to go close I might be misremembering but not only would you probably freeze up in the water instantly, the waves are incredibly powerful and the second they sweep you out even a bit you’re done for. I believe there's a pretty famous photo of a tourist being swept away, but again i may be wrong
Yup, the beach is deadly. The wave pulls you out and there is a big drop not far beyond the visible beach which the water pulls you down into if you are unlucky. Do not ignore warnings here, nature is out to kill you.
Yeah I think the biggest danger from these waves is the power. I’ve been to that exact beach On a school trip and there are warnings in all major languages and a traffic light warning sign. The powerful waves can come out of nowhere, coming in a lot further than the other waves/tide.
It's truly beautiful but totally ridiculous what they're doing. All for Instagram probably. We see tourist's getting caught all the time. Of course you won't freeze in Australian oceans!
They are creeper waves. They are slightly different from other waves by the fact that they suck you out to sea instead of just towards the shore. They sort of go over and the back towards the ocean, so it's likely that if someone got stuck in one, especially amll children or pets, they could get into some bad situations.
The case at 2:56 is actually funny, but only without the context. The man who is driving got his license suspended long time ago, but he should've gotten it back 2 years ago. That is why he is driving in the video, because his driver's license isn't suspended anymore, yet he didn't get it back for 2 years. Moist Critical made a video about this too, and then later apologized for making fun of him without the full context.
Wasn't there ANOTHER update that the guy had NEVER HAD a drivers license in the first place? Something like the state there lets you have ID or drivers license and he was always registered for the former i think.
@katerinakralova7292 - no, he never had a driving licence. As Judge Simpson has stated, the defendant would renew his Michigan ID card "religiously every year." In Michigan, a person is not permitted to have both an ID card *and* a driving licence. The defendant knew he was in the wrong, which is why he made sure his ID card was valid and up-to-date. Further, Judge Simpson is disappointed that the defendant would lie to the court.

It's a metal fence by the sea that looks like it's been there for decades, I wouldn't trust it to hold a small child much less four big dudes.
If it had been welded properly it would have lasted even longer.
@@jasperzanovich2504 it is not the welding thats the problem it is the cursion from the sea and salt that eats away at the metal the beaches near me have signs that say (the rail is stop people being taken out to sea when the high tide is rough and not for climbing on).
the man actually had a licence. just wasnt on the system
It wasn't in the system because that guy had never been issued a driving licence.
Hands down one of my all time favourite sub reddits
ive been to the beach in iceland (Reynisfjara) and they have these dangerous sneaker waves which come in low then suddenly rear up and snatch people and at the top of the path going down there is a big sign in multiple languages with 3 warning lights a green where it is pretty safe to go down to the water an amber where you dont go past the halfway point of the beach and red was dont go past the sea wall and there were lots of tourists( mostly either american or chinese like always) despite it being a red warning they went right down to the waters edge and kept getting knocked over but this american couple took this little girl down to so our tour guide ran down the beach and scolded them (she has had to go into rescue people and children in the past)
1:05 that’s some toy story shi*
The reason people go to that beach in iceland is because its a black beach. However, when i went there were signs (and still are) and like a red amber and green system depending on the weather type and how far you can get to the water because of how many people die therer annually.
6:40 the beach is dangerous because the waves can suck you into the sea
they take bomb threats in airports or planes like its the real thing whenever they get a call and if it turns out you did it for laughs, you can go to jail for a LONG time
Best clip by FAR is the little girl who Screamed as she watched her teddy bear fall from the heavens 😂😂😂 never laughed so hard
The whole clip just feels mean-spirited from the start, I don't see the humour in it.
@@imnotcreative3960 yeah because your a sad husk of a Human 🤣 the clip is f HILARIOUS
