I was watching America Got Talent and a young man sang this song and I just lost my Dad December 14 this year and it was like he sang it to me and it really hit me hard.
That was a heartwarming performance from a soul in pain. This could be the greatest battle in us, feeling the pain of losing our love ones, all the memories it might be good or bad, but we can't do anything if that's their fate. My deepest sympathy for all the father's that have been past away.
It has been almost 23 yrs now, since I said goodbye.....I heard this song for the 1st time today, sung by Iam Tongi. To say that I cried, would be an understatement. He is missed everyday, and I cannot wait to share the stories of his life, my life.....with my Granddaughters.

I lost my dad 13 years ago at Christmas, 2 days ago my mum had a diagnosis for bone cancer and I’m crushed, I never got over my dad and I can’t begin to imagine life without my mum. It’s 2am here and I’m balling on my own looks like another night of no sleep while I try to comprehend my future without the most important person in my life not being here anymore, maybe I’ll just join her
I lost my daddy 9 years ago and every day I wish he was here and talk to me and see the man I have grown in to I miss him so much and this song is so deep
