I am Filipina-American, I am 66 years old, married with three adult children, and I am falling in love with you! The first and only time I ever voted for an American Idol contestant was in Season 2. That was Ruben Studdard and he captured me with his soulfulness. Iam, you have that soulfulness with an island flair. For many years, I gave up watching American Idol (because I would be disappointed with the results) but now here you are in Season 21. Ever since I heard you audition, you captivated me along with my extended family. I felt alive again, I was happy, I was sad and I was hopeful. Iam, My son was born with a rare genetic disorder, he is now 8 years old and he is the happiest, sweetest kid. He can’t walk and can’t talk, but he lights up every room he’s in. This song just speaks to not just the loss you experienced with Rodney but the undying love of family that is truly special. The fact you don’t take anything for granted is just as much of a gift as your timeless voice.
My son also has a rare genetic condition called Angelman Syndrome so he is also very happy. Your words are lovely. Iam is just wonderful. Have been watching since his first audition, a long way from the US.

My son-in-law passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest one week ago today; just four days after his 44th birthday. He leaves his wife (my daughter) and four children. We are heartbroken, but we know that we will see him again because of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Thank you, Iam. May the Lord bless you. When I found out she passed away with "I'll be seeing you" being played for her, I found this song on here. This is song will be my special song to play when I feel a cry coming. God Bless You Iam.
Sorry for your loss. A 101 years is a long time and your family will be seeing her as Iam sings whenever you guys see something, someplace, some items, some foods that she used to cook etc. Just like how Iam could see his dad and hear him singing with him, your family has 101 years of memories to draw from. Iam is a great person. I met him during my senior year at Decatur high school. I'm glad he won American Idol and spreading the island music throughout his competition. He has a beautiful voice when I first heard him sing in school. We used to hang out near the music class and outside ans just play and sing together with our other friends.

This song bring out the emotional side of me because November first was the day my uncle died and it may not seem like a big deal cause it’s just an uncle but that uncle was one of the most nicest people I’ve ever met the day I found out was after school and he was in the hospital my mum and brother went and visited him in the hospital and I couldn’t because of school and I stayed with my nana since they were in traffic on the way back when my mum picked me up I was hesitant to ask how he is but when we got home I finally did and I said “oh mum how’s uncle villiami” and before my mum said anything my brother said “oh he died” and right then and there my heart for him shattered into a million pieces that day and I was sad but ok until the day of the funeral when it got time to see the body to say goodbye that’s what we do in the Tongan culture when I saw him my heart broke more and turned to dust as I thought and knew that that was the last time I could ever see him and after that when ever I tried to pieces back my heart that night I couldn’t I would go up with my little cousin and she cried all night then a two weeks after I found u and ur music relates so much to my life which is why I’m so grateful for an artist like u u take reality and make it into a song which I feel like is even more sad is that his birthday is the 21 of November and he would’ve turned 58

Iam knows where he came from and all he want's is to make his family proud. I watched his homecoming and to see all the love shared by the thousands especially the younger kids who came to see their "American IDOL". Yes sometimes we forget the word "Idol" in "American Idol.
