Should add a flushometer that had a push the handle for 3.5gpf and pull the handle for 1.6gpf (or something like that) to your test set up. Would make it easier to test instead of swapping in & out of flushometer diaphragms... 😊
This is my favorite AS terlit minus the bedpan lugs. Does this have a glazed trapway (I think they call this their "EVERCLEAN" feature and stamped under the logo)...? Does this in a wall mount differ from floor mount in terms of flushing performance?

Maybe you added more pressure into the tank?

Well you mentioned that it swirls even more, meaning it may have more psi than expected.

And I believe it has a long flush because there could be a 3.5 diaphragm in it
