I had a PanoLock multi-point system installed with a Wi-Fi keypad. When the door is locked the center is not actually locked and if you depress the lever from inside or outside the center latch is depressed. So in reality it is only a 2 point locking system. My installer told me this is how it is supposed to work but I challenge that as it does not make sense to have 3 locking points if only 2 of them actually lock. I am curious if what I was told is accurate
These type of 3 point lock system are junk , I order a hurricane impact doors with a pano lock system, and they are going back to the seller, one they install the cheapest quality lock, two they are Not safe for impact doors , and anyone can get one this type of lock, I wish we have giving what type of lock to choose, because pano lock have two totally different system one very good and the other JUNK.
