  • I commute daily to work on my Begode Monster Pro electric unicycle (EUC). My commute is about 11 miles round trip. How many miles do you commute round trip to work?
    The blue Oxford shirt I'm wearing is from Wool&Prince and I'm participating in a 100 day challenge. If I wear the shirt for 100 days straight, then I get a free shirt.

    I ride Kingsong S18 everyday from home to work, but only 1.5 miles round trip. Fun and no need to looking for parking spot anymore.

    Nice run. What's the distance, and how much does that drain your battery one way with that style of riding?
    Interested in the monster pro, but I love my Sherman very much.

    When you're promoted to principal will they give you a full e-bike? :) Always impressed with your blogs and videos. Keep up the good work!

      I wouldn’t consider an ebike an upgrade LOL I think would enjoy one but I wouldn’t buy one at this point in my life.

    Question: why do you present yourself first with a profession??
    You are not your brain I hope?
    Nice ride anyway, not to much traffic and nice weather too.
    I wonder how long you will be able to follow up this kind of rides, not using a mirror on one of your hands?
    Thanks for sharing it, enjoy the moment( whatever you do..:-)

    Thanks Shane for sharing. Was the hand signals at the end.. to signify u were at the end of your trip? And tbe one hand... to say goodbye?
    I get it! U use signals and body language.. not verbal like others do.
    But I certainly got to see how u and ur wheel rides a trip to work like u did!
    For myself ( in Australia) I wear steel capped boots at work AND on my wheel when I commute to work. At least on my wheel... if I come off?
    I can use my hands and toes of my boots to fall safely.
    A big psychological safety factor for me too!
    Maybe? I'm the ONLY EUC rider in the world?
    Who wears steel capped boots when riding....

    Found any solutions to reducing wind noise?

    • @ShaneHilde
      @ShaneHilde  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I got an external mic recently. Need to test though.

      @@ShaneHilde Sorry, I should have clarified I meant in the context of situational awareness and hearing protection. Does the wind noise under your helmet drown out other road sounds?

    • @ShaneHilde
      @ShaneHilde  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@etcetera662 oh absolutely not! I can hear just about everything with this helmet.
