Hi Kanday! Congrats on your beautiful finishes on Season Sun Sine and the afghan! I'm proud of you as well! I wouldn't change the colors of the words for Feliz Naughty Dog. I like both fabrics but I'm thinking fabric #1 (Jamie's Kilt) would show off the colors better. I can't wait to watch your parades/planning! So glad that you will have family around you for Christmas! Merry Christmas!
The wording on naughty dog is pretty, I don't think you need to frog it and make it black. The Afghan is gorgeous, your daughter will love it. Congrats! Merry Christmas

I like fabric #1 for the turtles. When I think about the variety of colors you had on the butterflies I think they would stand out beautifully on the lighter background
Hi Kanday! Wow, you were one busy stitcher. Congrats on finishing Seasonal Sun Sine and completing all 6 pieces from your Year of WIPs. Your stitches are beautiful, as always. Congrats on basically finishing your daughter's afghan. What a great milestone to make an afghan in about 3 months. A suggestion I will put out to you on Feliz Naughty Dog is stitch the words as is, then underneath the dog in black stitch Albert's name in small backstitched letters and possibly the year. It looks like there is plenty of room to do so at the bottom. You are amazing for liking to stitch on 46 count. I can remember when you first started branching out into smaller counts of Aida and other fabrics, and look how far you have progressed to date. The pillow cover is gorgeous, what a beautiful gift. As far as your fabric choices for Sea Turtles Temperature Chart, I say #2 fabric but double check your blue colors to make sure they don't blend in for the winter temperatures first. If the blues blend too much, then go with fabric #1. I hope that you thoroughly enjoy your Christmas meal with your son. Have a wonderful holiday. Hugs and love to you! Dawn in Texas

Wow!! Seasonal Sun Sign looks great! Congratulations on a huge finish and on completing year of wips!! For the frog piece you got by Lizzie Kate, you could replace the frog’s wand with a needle. 🪡 I have no idea what fabric I’d choose for temperature turtles - they are so different from each other. I’m sure whichever you choose it will look great! (How’s that for helpful?) 😂

Such a lovely finish on your journey of the sun. Of course we can get emotional when we finish special projects...we invest so much time and effort into our stitching, and some pieces have special meaning to us. Congratulations on the afghan finish for your daughter, also! For your temperature piece, I lean towards the blue fabric, but the first piece looks more like the ocean that is closest to my home! I'd suggest a quick floss toss to see how you like the colors for the sea turtles on both fabrics, then choose. The grayer fabric may show off the colors better. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year, and I wish you lots of time doing what you love.

I do not think you need to change the brown floss for the words. The tree trunk is brown, so there is that balance.
