I know exactly what you mean about the perfect chair when you are short. I have that same problem. My feet dangle from most chairs! Also, thanks for the information about Duchess hoops. I just inherited a few from my aunt who passed away in January and I had never heard of them. One of them is oval like yours. I have really enjoyed your first two videos. Keep them coming!

I, too, got that chart when Paulette unveiled it at DTS but have done nothing about it (but I have a GREAT chart collection :) ALso thank for turning me on to the double sided needleminders- I got the reindeer/snowflake but need to "take a trip" to Etsy soon to see what else they have. Yay!! So happy to see another video from you! I adore your litter bunnies in the clock. 😍😍😍 and I love how the dyeing to stitch ladies are tucked away in your basket looking over your shoulder while you stitch. So cute! I did my barn on the creek bed brown too and I love how it turned out. Ann recommend it and you know I have to do whatever she says to do. 😂 of course it turned out just perfect and it might be my go to color of fabric now. 😄

Hi Donna Rae....You are such a natural on camera and have such a faithful heart. I started cross stitching in the 70's. When the 90's came I stopped and now I have the bug again just watching Flosstube.. Your channel was my first along with Nana's Needles and Priscilla and Chelsea. Will there be more to add to my viewing.....you betcha! :-) I didn't catch the name of your bunnie clock stitching but it is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the links above. I will go visit them too. I have learned a few things from you today, such as, the different texture stitching vertical, the duchess hoops and the bags. Lovely videos, and I so appreciate those sharing thier passion for farming, ranching, homesteading, the whole connection to nature and being good stewards of the land. Your saurkraut story reminded me of my aunts and uncles who had giant redwing crocks for making saurkraut, and having to weigh the lids down with big washed rocks. When these crocks werent being used we kids used them as hiding places for hide and seek. (Yes they were big enuf we could hide in them!)

I love Williamsburg we have been there 4 times. Love to walk the campus of William and Mary. That is one of my favorite periods in history. Love your finishes, stars and wips!!! Hey hey Donna Rae! Lovely second video. I loved seeing your delightful stitching spot and hearing all about your stitching friends and projects. That Jane Austen piece is wonderful! I might have to borrow your language of "charming mentions" as it so much more elegant than shouting at one's friends, tee hee. I always said that my back up career (after counseling) was farming, and in my heart I keep chickens, goats, and bees, too. Thanks for sharing about the homesteading videos on you tube, it will be fun to explore those. :) Let us know how your Kraut turns out!

Your stitching is lovely & thank you so much for the info on sauerkraut making. I had no idea you could make it in a jar & there was a special lid for the jar. I always thought you had to make it in a big crock. That lid might make a good Xmas gift for my dad. Thanks again. Very nice video.

Aww, thank you for your kind mention. I'm excited to see your progress on the Jane Austen piece, she's one of my absolute favorite authors. I've done some fermenting, and it's so much fun. After sauerkraut, you should try kimchi, if you like spicy. We also enjoy fermented pickles and salsa.
