  • In northern Taranaki region are a series of monolithic rock formations known as The Three Sisters. This video was my first impression visit to them and wow what a sight they are to see.
    If you are going here, remember this is a tidal walk so you will need to be careful around when you go and also not being caught out from the incoming tide.
    Thanks for watching.

      I will take you there when you come to NZ. It’s got a spiritual aura surrounding the entire location - you can feel it the moment you step outside the car and out your feet into the black iron ore sand 😍👌

    I have looked forward to seeing a variety of these types of Statues here where I live, Sadly a few years back some kids destroyed one beautiful Arch that had withheld it's form through many storms but with them all jumping on it and kicking they destroyed it! Like you said these things are often temporary even though we take them for granted. Such beautiful Nature you have there... Thanks so much for taking us along on these adventures! Love that quote! What a shame those hooligan’s destroyed the arch in your hometown, there truely are some mungrols in this world :( I hope you still like these videos I am doing. They are a little different from the Mexico ones since my time to edit them is a fraction of the time compared to my Mexico vids.

      @@FinnDelMundoTravel YES! your videos are refreshing no matter where you are! I was laughing out loud a few minute into it because you were "FIRST" :D Beautiful places and you captured the feeling perfectly.. the caves were especially terrific! Gracias!

      @@hivolco151 Oh no! wasn't that the worst? ha!! Due to the wind noise, I had to edit out why being there before the others was important in capturing the sand without foot steps. I noticed how cringe it was without that explanation in there haha!!

      @@FinnDelMundoTravel I used to be more into photography, SO I totally "got it" :) Not having footprints in the sand and nobody in the shot is priceless! YOU DID IT! .. no apologies man! You captured terrific scenes.. honestly I loved it all! you have achieved the feeling of actually being there.. Keep it up! you have the touch!

    A great video. New Zealand is not as exotic as Mexico but it certainly has a lot of unspoilt natural beauty. What happened to your drone? A view from above would have been interesting.

    • @FinnDelMundoTravel
      @FinnDelMundoTravel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ray, will reply to your longer message when I can but to answer this one: my drone can’t be flown in high winds and currently NZ has severe Spring winds that would make it mostly impossible to use. With that said I have had some luck recently so expect a few drone shots in my video this week :) Also, Department of Conservation sites usually prohibit the use of drones so that can also be a reason for me not using it. Rain also 😅! Bring on summer when the winds and rain are gone I say!!

    New Zealand is a beautiful country and you have the added advantage of having the most admired government leader in the world, Jacinda Ardern, who is the antithesis of Donald Trump. Just curious, why did you decide to go to Mexico? Had you studied Spanish at university before going? I was a bit of a Spanish language fanatic when I was growing up in California, back in the Sixties and I went down to Mexico to practice the language. I knew the grammar but I wasn´t able to communicate. Once in Mexico my Spanish really took off. I would imagine that in New Zealand speaking Spanish would be a hard thing to do considering the distance from any Spanish speaking country. There I suppose a foreign language would be Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Tagalog. What part of New Zealand are you from?

    • @FinnDelMundoTravel
      @FinnDelMundoTravel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good questions!! I took spanish by correspondence at school since it wasn’t available as a class in my school. I also went to night classes once a week for 2 hours each Tuesday which was great to practice with others. Our teacher from that class took us over to Mexico in 2006 & 2007 and ever since I have loved the country and returned numerous times to holiday. Main languages here in NZ are Hindi, Cantonese and English. The native language of Maori is being brought back from near death and is widely used in the north and east of NZ’s north island. We’re really lucky to have Jacinda for another 3 years - she just re-won her party another round by a historic landslide thankfully. I can only dream of how Mexico was in the 60s / 70s! Those are the years I wish I was alive - probably my favourite decades from what I have seen and read about them. I’m envious of your travels there Ray, during the golden days!
