Conspiracy theory: Adidas made the F50 soleplate less aggressive and more conical so Messi dont get injured playing on AG in the US.
Nice theory but Messi uses custom boots, he’s known for the custom burrito tongue but past match-worns also show custom padding, materials and soleplate.

Amazing. We just needed you back. The launch of this boots deserved a raw discussion from you guys. I absolutley loved how the Ultra carbon looked and the F50 is also a huge player. To me, is like a koenigsegg and a Ferrari, for the aficionado, the Ultra just looks wild, but the beuaty and status of the F50 is clear and undeniable. Got the F50s, hope to the get the Ultras one day, anw really excited about the upcoming Vapors.

Miss the podcast, boys! So...My son has plantar fasciitis pain and heard that Asics boots were podiatrist recommended. I've also heard how great fitting they are. Would either of you consider reviewing some of the Asics DS Lights or Menace since they're readily available from many Japanese eBay sellers?
You guys need to talk about how annoying these brands are with the length of their boots, and how it’s never consistent, to the point that it’s getting a bit ridiculous. You guys already mentioned that the Puma Carbon ran longer than usual, and I tried on the F50 yesterday and it also runs about a quarter size long if not more. I have a pretty wide foot so I can’t afford to go down half a size to get a better fit lengthwise, and it’s just mind-bogglingly dumb that they can’t just have a consistent heel to toe measurements between boots. A size 12 in the preds fits me great, but the same size 12 in the F50s left me with an entire thumbs worth of space at the toe????????

Messi has had ALOT of influence in the 2024 F50. If u look at his custom X boots, they are basically the same. The tongue, the sole plate, all custom Messi.
i dont think adidas will release a leather version of the f50 elite, not as a regular release but maybe a limited collection

Honestly those pumas looks heavy since i saw it first. From the pictures the studs looks clear: Im guessing the sole plate is just a sheet of carbon mold with normal polyurethane, looks cosmetic to me. I think the stiffness is mostly from the plastics. Or they maybe is proper carbon-resin composite fused to the sole i dont know.
The stud pattern is interesting tho.
But they look heavy to me
I really think that adidas purposefully leaves things on the table when they relaunch a silo. Clearly happened with the predator to ace back to predator, especially the jump between pred 18/19 to pred mutator. It would be very surprising if adidas doesnt do something very interesting with the next generation. I also think they felt a need to launch given that messi is nearing retirement.
