We just have to make sure we keep supporting it
Who knows maybe in a few years once RWBY is complete there could be a reboot that can recycle the series and add some changes here and there that we never got to see in the original series. Especially if they get the budget.

@@Tahanok2 It's fitting Gurren Laggan was one of the Anime that inspired RWBY (look it up). Not to trivialize Monty's passing but it's admirable how the CRWBY sought to carry on what he'd started because he was their friend or respected co-worker.

Hearing Yang again, even if it’s just her VA, brings a smile to my face.
I am so happy to see that not only did Viz pick up RWBY, but they're also working with Kerry and the rest of the team behind the rest of the series. It means so much to know that this series will be continuing!

You know what I agree, despite the hurtles it went through and the hate it’s gotten. Especially from me, I have to honestly respect the fact that they are willing to continue it. I guess there’s more love for the show than hate, and…that weirdly makes me happy.
It hasn't defied all the odds though. The odds won. RT failed. No, what RWBY has done is actually something way more impressive. It lost, and got back up again to keep going.
The show has kinda grown into something that embody's Monty's philosophy more than I think even the man himself ever thought it would.

I hate to say it but the future of RWBY is looking brighter now with VIZ than if RT was still around. Obviously I’m still sad about the shutdown, but with this RWBY’s in a better position to continue as it deserves.

It fills me with joy and relief to know RWBY can continue. It has meant a lot to me since the beginning.
0:08 im starting to believe that Yang is not only a role she plays but an extension of Barbara herself.
That's probably due to the fact that the shows original director kinda based the characters off their VA's to the point that after he passed the people that took over the animation have admitted in Q&As and interviews the spent kinda creepy amounts of time trying to animate how they walked around the RT offices so the characters matched them.
Here's hoping we get a volume 10 announcement before year's end. Cheers Viz
I mean they JUST announced they acquired the IP. So they’re probably still in the phase where they’re deciding which studio will actually create the show. Probably still a long ways off from any kind of announcement like that

I’m so glad that RWBY can continue now that rooster teeth are gone, I absolutely adore the characters and world of RWBY, and its a great show that helped me through rough days. I hope RWBY is done justice and the property is treated with care and respect.
I actually cried seeing this. I am so thankful that you’ve given RWBY the chance it so greatly needs and deserves. I had not heard of VIZ before, but I am now here and subscribed and ready to support them to make RWBY a continued reality.

This is great news, as a long time fan of RT and especially of Monty Oum, I'm thrilled that RWBY will have a chance to finish it's story on it's own terms. Hopefully you guys are able to bring back all of CRWBY and the voice actors for these future seasons.
Congrats! Great to hear, would love to see the rest of the story played out as intended rather than some kind of quick wrap up or just dropped. Looking forward to seeing how Viz handles stuff, they have certainly had quite a long history with anime.

You know... one of the things about RWBY was seeing it grow. The first two volumes are, yes, rough around the edges and that's a fair point against it but seeing the show refine the way it tells its story as well as animate past the whole Shadow People thing is inspiring.
Geeks today seem to make quality art today out to be absolutes like it's either top tier, no notes, GOATed or the trash to end all trash. Yet that didn't stop RWBY from diving in head first and learning along the way.
Probably because Red Vs. Blue before it grew in a similar way where it started out as simple machinima silliness before adapting Halo's more epic aspects and getting animators for the Project Freelancer Saga including a certain Mr. Oum. RWBY isn't too far off. It's just that Crunchyroll got a lot of viewers that, well, forgot the "web series" aspect.
We can have as many biased, clickbait-y TH-cam videos that regurgitate the same old memes but the CRWBY are a lot like Miss Frizzle: taking chances, making mistakes and getting messy.

Even though this is the first time I have ever heard of Viz media - will be checking out their stuff. Just wondering if we'll be getting an RWBY RPG game (think of the Mass Effect games), but its the entire RWBY series from start to finish.
How is this the first time you've ever heard of Viz? They're the ones who publish all the shonen jump series here in the US. You might have heard of them. Little series called One Piece? Dragon Ball? Naruto? Bleach?
@@Drums_of_Liberation I have heard of One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto before but I have never heard about that company before. Still getting back into watching magna/ anime, been watching too many reddit react videos and playing too many video games/ live streams lmao.
Also been watching too many Reddit stories react videos and I’m from the UK lol
they are owned by Shonen Jump / Shueisha they basically translate Shonen Jump Manga and bring it out globally. They also do Anime translations, recently they brought Bleach TYBW to global audiences. What can happen is that they might bring RWBY to Manga first and after that Shueisha /Shonen Jump might hire studios for Anime. Kinda like how RT hired Shaft for Ice Queendom
They just need to guarantee three more Volumes and we're straight.
