Hey LocksNY - You have an opinion on whether to daily the AutoProPad or IM508? I've been racking my brain for weeks now trying to choose which one to get going with. The Auto Pro Pad Basic seems to be the old model that's been rebranded as "Basic" to liquidate them, and it's no-internet, no-subscription or tokens - just pure programming. I know the APP can skip the 10 min wait and program quite a few things. Just wondering what you thought, thank you

I was nervous about a call for a 2019 Jeep trail hawk I have the brute force cable but so damn scared of taking off panel and plugging in the probes to the star connector..I’m always afraid I won’t be able to locate it, I’ll stop being chicken shit and take the next job😂 can’t learn if I don’t do it

I take my programmers in and charge them at night. I just get busy and throw it on the front seat half turned off and end up killing it during the day. Throw and go 🤪

I would go AutoProPad if I had to choose one.

The 508 is a heck of a lot cheaper on updates every year. Just get the upgraded 508 package.

The Trailhawk version came on a few models in the Jeep lineup. Don't let them scare you off, dig right in 👍

Have you ever had the electric steering lock fail on a Jeep blade key
I would send it to a local shop for the repair if it did. I do replace a lot of Chrysler SKIM modules though.

Should be the same as far as I know. If not, use your connector and plug in the rear headliner.
I tried adding an aftermarket key for 2021 Jeep wrangler and it work. are there certain ones you need oem keys for it to work.
I always try to use OEM keys.
can u give me the specs of the cable and what are the those 2 wires for?
That is the Brute Force cable and it is used for programming newer Chrysler products. It taps the high and low data lines for programming the key.

I have a question sir could it possible to program a used proximity key ?
You can if it's unlocked the right way with Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. You can't just go from one car to another without unlocking the chip.
