Lokomotivpfeifenkonzert bei 12:40 und gleich danach der Rheinfall bei Schaffhausen, einfach toll. Eindrucksvolle Kameraeinstellungen dicht an den Treibrädern 5:10 am Bahnsteig, gewaltige gezähmte Kräfte!
Des joyaux des chefs d'oeuvres du chemin de fer français oui oui oui quand je ces locomotives à vapeurs je me dit que les plus trains sont tracters par ces locomotives même si ma préféré est la sublime divine pacific 231 la légendaire et mythique du chemin de fer français.
What's up with the American whistle on the green locomotive? I thought it'd be the same high-pitched banshee scream as the other one. Not saying either of them are bad, just genuinely curios.
Both are french? But the steamer with the american type wistle it isn't swiss? Because I've seen a parallel run on the Gothard with both of those steamers against a german BR, and reading comment I've seen someone who's telling us that the steamer with the american wistle was from Swithzerland.... Maybe it's a mistake?
@@lowrangemaniac5326 241-A-65 et 241-P-17 are definitely French locomotives. They are both compound locomotives, a technology typically used in Europe and mastered by the French. It brings higher power and effiency for a much lower fuel consumption, but required more maintenance and highly skilled drivers and workers - it was worth it when coal and petrol were expensive.

Non, ce ne sont pas des jumelles, c'est plutôt la mère - 241 A 65 construite à Lille en 1931 - et la fille - 241 P 17 construite au Creusot en 1947.
