EFFECTS OF LIES IN ISLAM by Sheikh Alhassan Mohammed Shaaban Morla

Our video this week presents you with dangers and effects associated with Lies. Imam in this video admonishes us to be conscious of what we say and how we relate to information in our dealings as Muslims. Allah SW has warned and commanded us not to engage in lies and the Prophet SAW has exemplified the obedience of this command by the Almighty Allah by being truthful and living a truthful life. His character of being truthful gave him an attribute name (Amin). It has been recorded in the teaching of the Prophet SAW that we should stay away from the act of lies because the lies has nothing for us than to lead us into chaos and distraction in our community, causing confusions because of the lies we tell. Imam advises us to stay with the teachings of the Prophet and obey the command from our creator.
