I agree, the sapphire blue is a stand-out color. I am finishing up the first pattern - in season5 of Helen Stewart’s socks, called “Shadow Box.” I have tried Stephan’s weave in but wondered about a Purl stitch solution. So I am going to enjoy learning something new. Thanks.
This week my preference is the CHARCOAL GRAY. Thank you for the tutorial for weaving in ends as you go... particularly when working PURL stitches (a subject rarely, if ever treated, as you mention). Am presently nearly finished with an asymmetrical shawl: "Shades of mine" by Anne B Hanssen and am part way into a 6-year-old sized "Flower Cardigan (kids)" by Ewelina Murach.
I am working on the Comfy Afghan from an old Leisure Arts Big Book of Quick Knits that a friend was going to knit but couldn’t She ‘donated all her knitting supplies to me and I’m knitting it for her!😉

It's a hard choice this week, I love both colours, but think I'll vote for the sapphire. x
