I've really enjoyed watching this series Russ, your explanation of the build process has been fascinating and I have learned plenty. I'm currently building a Westfield but would like to attempt a Cobra at some point in the future, your videos have given me a lot to think about - thank you. Looking forward to watching series 2 now.

Thanks Gary, appreciate the comments. I sold my red Cobra to a Westfield ex-owner. Different experience, and a bit more wife approval. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers

Very nice build process, I built a Factory Five cobra replica myself here across the pond.

Thanks T Izzy. I wanted to build an F5 but too much to ship one across to the UK. Nice looking cars. Cheers

Very nice looking hard top, but way to may gaps and having that window ram fitting stuck on the top of the door is very poor, I would stick to a soft top and tonneau cover. It would be interesting to see what the cost difference is between the hard top complete including paint, compared to the AK soft top with sliding windows. and tonneau cover. But even then there are far to many tenax screws used, as they dont use the soft top rear fittings for the Tonneau cover so you end up with 2 rows of studs sticking out the body work, unless you do it the way I have and only use one row for the soft top and tonneau cover combined.

Completely agree Mike. AK soft top would be ideal and then use your own trimmer to do custom tonneau using same fixings.
