Hey Nick, what is ti vinyl top you used. I thought I heard Triumph. Will a Spitfire top work? And...how to get the windshield header bows. I have rear top bows from a 1965 MG Midget that look like they could fit. Please help, Jeff
I use a Robbins soft top and tonneau cover made specifically for Cobras and have them available on our website. www.actoncustom.com/products/p/soft-top
the top is nice but it needs some kind of weatherstrip for along the top across the windshield , cause it leaks like a sive when driven in the rain , as i say the top for these cars is just the illusion of staying dry , and dont forget to seal the bottom of the windshield to the body as water will come in under it ,
Did a test fit, and really can't see how I can fit it without major modifications. The rear doesn't seem to sit well, especially the corners. And the top section seems like it doesn't have enough support. I'm really worried I won't be able to get it looking right without any wrinkles.
@@nickacton9006 yes I need to work around a full width single rollbar. I lowered it a bit which helps. May need to bend it forward a bit so the corners can reach.
@@nickacton9006 Then, where did you get the replica ones? I have had my car for over 15 years and haven´t been able to get the soft top arts I need. Your help would be greatly appreciated

Yes we use a weather strip inside the split header bows. I disagree with sealing the bottom rubber to the body. You want them to flex and not stress.
Is there a part 2?
I believe I ran some more video. I will go back through my files and find it when I get chance. Are you ready to install one on yours,
@@nickacton9006 Should be ready in about a week.

@gregcarmody8018 do you have a roll bar you are trying to work around? How did you get your lift-the-dot post layout?

Where did you buy the headers bow latches? (Original)
Hi Richard, I make these, and I'm not sure I'll be making more any time soon.
