Making a Hawaiian Lei at Home

Follow along with Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui's Cultural Advisor, Kumu Kapono Kamaunu as he shows you how to make a lei at home. With this technique, you can easily make a lei po'o (head lei), lei a'i (neck lei), lei kupe'e (wristlet or anklet), lei koko (lei to tie around your hair bun). For your lei material, use any type of fabric and/or faux leaves. You can even up-cycle an old pareo!
