    Holy hell that’s amazing. I’ve spent the past month making an intake system that doesn’t work half as well as any of this. Great work for real

    Congratulations. That's a first from all I have seen. You should feel proud of setting the bar so high.

    The violence with which it shoves the cones onto the poles-

    That is excellent.

    This is amazing work... but how did you'll manage to get auto with pinpoint accuracy? Cause if the elevating slider gets stuck on the pole then it would be game over for you

    what control algorithms do you use?

    Hello, what wheels do you use for your swerve drivetrain? Thanks!

    • @davifacchini7642
      @davifacchini7642 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They use custom 3d printed wheels which andymark grey grippy tread as the tread

    What servos are y’all using for controlling your wheel rotation? I’m interested in building swerve drive myself but can’t find a suitable servo that would have enough power and speed

    How did you do this

  • @derpii5311
    @derpii5311 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thats awesome! My only question is, how are you supposed to communicate to your alliance partner what your autonomous does and who needs to start where

    • @kookybotz
      @kookybotz  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We talk to all our alliance partners before matches and also check if their auto will collide with ours

    What do you do for auto? are you using dead wheels? t265?

    • @kookybotz
      @kookybotz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use two-wheel odometry, along with the IMU for autonomous localization.

    Aren't you controlling two cones since you're pinning one on the stack close to the wall while you're lifting the vertical extension?

    • @kookybotz
      @kookybotz  ปีที่แล้ว

      the first cone was slightly trapped, the rest were fine. Its been fixed since (basically just extended intake slides slightly less)
