That Maliss player should have absolutely not brought back Gryphon on their own turn. You wait for the opponent to commit on their turn so they lose Imperm for THAT EXACT REASON. That should have been an insta win.

In that last game after veiler on dormouse surely Maliss just makes accesscode talker with dormouse firewall, summons out white rabbit from hand and it’s game. They have strike set so nib isn’t real. Tbh there were probably too tilted to think plays through at that point though
Accesscode ist Link 4 and Firewall the Same? How do you Link 4 with Dormouse and a link 4?
Use the white binder and the dormouse to make access. Since white binder is sent to grave that triggers firewall to summon from hand.
But I also wasn’t thinking about how some lists are cutting accesscode now. So that might have been it.

That’s virtually every deck when it fully combos off. Except malice has the downside of being shut down by a single hand trap that everybody seems to have glued to their hand.

@@redoctober67 theres massive massive differences. maliss has virtually no real choke points like duodrive, or a bystial on engraver etc, anything you stop with lets say 1 imperm, they push through with any of their extenders, like field spell, sarc, bystials. when it comes to a board, full maliss combo is much much more layered interactions with many draws compared to 1 draw off cross and like 3-4 strong interactions of ryzeal
@ to say that it has no choke points is so disingenuous it’s ridiculous. Let me know how easy it is to play through a detonator that has the potential to pop five cards because of eclipse twins. Or going second and the only engine you open is Cat or Mouse. There’s a reason Ryzeal is dominating the pie chart and Maliss barely has half that if even
