I learned about Tony C's by watching Mythical Kitchen. I have been influenced. I now put Tony C's seasoning in almost every meal I cook and can pass for a decent cook because of it.
I have always had Lawry's and love it too much to switch. but seasoned salt is definitely the biggest secret ingredient no matter what. when you make burgers, make sure to mix it into the meat. people will become addicted to your burgers.

Just to put some context to this - the cost of ingredients in a restaurant are usually 25-30%. Less of a percentage for high COL places like LA. A six dollar (ingredients) chicken Sammy is 15-30 dollars on a menu, depending on overhead *to remain profitable E: not saying josh didnt make a better one, he probably did. His sandwich would cost you like 30 bucks in LA though
I went in the Army, and did not have Wendy's in 6 years... I got out, went to Wendy's ordered a Frosty, and they asked me what flavor... I was so confused, because when I went in the Army, Frostys were Chocolate, period. When I got out, they not only had Vanilla, but they had Reeses, Snickers, M&M... it was insane.
This reminds me of an internet post so old that I don't even know what forum it was on (I think it was before I found reddit, so we're going back like 15-20 years here) where someone's uncle had done like 20 years in prison and got out and walked up to a supermarket door and it opened for him, and he jumped backwards and had a moment of absolute panic thinking he either lost his mind or legit was in a parallel universe, because no such thing had existed when he went in and nobody had prepared him for it.

I worked on Wendy's salad bar! 1981-82, lunch rush four hours F-Sa-Su. I came in two hours ahead to make house made ranch dressing (the first time I had it and almost lived on the stuff for awhile) and hand bread the marinated chicken breasts. The grill guys would be making the burgers and chili. I still like Wendy's but it really was top quality back then. At least they stuck with using fresh local ingredients.
