    would be nice if when you change the root note, you can also have it follow a chord map.

    For some reason I cannot see all velocities in a track and just drag-edit one by itself as you do in the first ten seconds of this video. I end up editing all velocities at once. Is there a setting I'm missing as this is making midi editing painful because I have to then select individual notes and then I can't see the velocities of other notes around them? Would appreciate some help.

    Is this only for x3 or can I do this in x2?

      Neither - these are features in the new Sonar series. www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR/Versions

    pattern tool is not necessary.
