How to Set Data Store Module | JetEngine

- Improve UX by giving the possibility to save favorite items, add bookmarks or store products on wishlist page. Insert the Recently Viewed section to ensure the users won’t lose the items they are interested in.
💡 Tip. Enable Data Store module in #JetEngine’s settings to make sure the store works properly.
Proceed with the tutorial to know about:
◼️ choosing the store type where the user’s data will be stored
◼️ including items counter to see how many times each item was added to Elementor wishlist or favorites page
◼️ inserting “Add to #Favorites”/”Remove from Favorites” buttons
◼️ adding popup to highlight the item that is added to WordPress #wishlist collection
◼️ setting up the post query to get the necessary posts from the store in the grid
◼️ designing Recently Viewed section
◼️ using freemium plugin to clear the store when the post is deleted
◼️ styling favorites page and customizing “Not Found” message

This is great. Is it possible to allow user to create his own categories into which he would add a post? Simply to organize favorite posts...and is it possible to allow to share his selections of posts with other users?
This is awesome have been waiting for this, also I would like to make a suggestion concerning this new update. If there is a way to display the added item in different design take for example: I added product and a blog post how to display them using there unique design layout.

is it possible to run multiple favorite categories ? so favorite-items of site A going to favorit list 1 and favorite-items of site B going to favorite list 2 ? and the user can track how much items are in favorite list 1 and how much are in favorit list 2 ? . I can't make this work when I'm logged out. Works great when logged in as admin. Any ideas?
When I leave items on my favorites page when i'm logged in, they'll stay there when I'm logged out, no matter what I do.
I can remove them, Ise them dissapear, but when I reload the page, I see the same favourites from the beginning.
Did I miss something?

How to create repeater field shortcode?
For regular field, I can just use "[jet_engine component="meta_field" field="mycustomfield"]"
..but I can't figure out how to make the shortcode.
Hello! This shortcode can be used for Text fields only, but not for checkboxes, select, or repeater fields.
Considering the following situation, where I want a reaction system to the post (e.g. Happy, Sad, Love, Gratitude, Confusion, etc.). What would be the best tool to create this reaction system, since data storage only allows you to create one storage at a time?
it looks like 5 data stores will work fine
in case you need the post to be in one data store only, then it can be achieved in a custom way

@@beardclickdesign3027 In my case I made a workaround. I disabled "listing clickable" and set links to all the items inside the listing, like the image, the headline, the text etc. so nearly everywhere the cursor maybe you have the dynamic link. It works fine.

Hello, when using a Added To Favorites Popup, how do I get it to disappear from the page without using the close button. Once someone adds something to favorites the success pop up should appear, but how do I get it to disappear without using the close button?

How can i do this using Custom Content Types?
What i have changed from your Video
1-have enable "Is Custom Content Type store" in the store parameters
2-when configuring the page "My Favorites" i choose "content type query" instead of "Posts Query" and select my store
But i cant see none of my favorite itens
I know i have some because if change "content type query" parameters to "Not Select" instead of my configured store it shows all itens, including the ones with the remove button

Hi, what store type should I choose if I want to when a user favorite an item, the item gets saved to their account and they can only check it if they log in or sign up? And if they want to open their account on another device the items are still saved?

Is it possible to remove the item from the list just by clicking the same button once again? In this example, clicking again leads you to the favorites listing page. I would like the ability for the user to just remove by "unclicking" the button. Would appreciate any help!

You can use a plugin such as stax visibility that hides the icon/widget based on user role being logged in or out
