One of my favorite disco songs it was a favorite at the gay clubs in NYC
Those were great times and this is one of my all time favourites. Kids today possess a misguided arrogance, ignorance, poor social skills thanks to the internet and have little concept of respect and do not associate talent with fame thanks to reality TV.
In late 1979, you could hardly get near a dance floor when this was on the (then) 'turntable.' Fully agree with Andrew Kahn's opinion; had lost a woman friend of 11 years, she had real chutzpah, female 'baitsim' (tough) what he said. Yes, irreplaceable contrasted to those ones around these days.
Man...when this came on the floor was FIYAH!! Perfect song to Hustle to!!

Okay Wise Guys. Karen Young had more talent, chutzpah and balls than any of you put together! Imagine yourself in a TV studio with no set, no dancers, just the camera in front of you, then lip-synching PERFECTLY to edits of a song you performed in a studio that set every dance floor in the world on fire in the summer of 1978. I toured with Karen Young, wrote the song "Hot Shot" for her and produced this historic dance record that sits on the mantle of the Disco Hall of Fame. What have you done?

O M G! Another Classic Clip exists besides that Soap Factory Disco Clip! This is an enjoyable hot mess, bad production edits, starting randomly in the middle of the first verse- not her fault though! RIP Karen, you were THE "Hot Shot" in 1978 and still are 35 Years later!
