Well, parts of it survived.. including the "crossroads" which is the second picture in this video and it''s the video at the end, that actually survived decently well, here's some pictures. imgur.com/gallery/ULiCRwe

9/11 was a tragic event that was never meant to be. The whole world has gone to shit because of that fateful day. Every September 11th, I paid my respects, knowing that there’ll still be a promising future ahead for America. Now that date is a day I dread because of the mess we’re now stuck in because of that horrible event as it sadly only got worse.
It wasn't only that song; there were many other songs from the Environmental station that were played, like Bad Sneakers, Sara Smile, and removed tracks like Soul Food To Go/Sina.
i remember being there a couple of times!! now that i think about it somebody was filming when we were there ..... my mother pointed it out we were waiting for sis to finish whatever! two months later gone! she worked on the mid floors she was visiting mother when they came down!!! woooow!!! edit everybody she worked with got out! barely....
I would’ve been visiting this mall as I grew older had 9/11 never happened. I was only 3 years old on that tragic day, and I wish it never took place. I would’ve taken lots of photographs of the towers in their glory. I’d probably even have my first kiss with a girl there as well. Thinking about makes me feel as though 9/11 may have robbed me of that potential life. I mean, I could still have that kind of life with the new WTC, but really, it just wouldn’t be the same… 😢
Fun fact, Westfield was planning on expanding the WTC mall to be even larger it was planed to be reopened in 2002 but we all know what happened.
I believe it was going to be started in December 2001, and it was 500,000 square foot of space that was gonna be added.
Lilers yeah I believe so, it would’ve been amazing to see all the updates that were planned for the complex before 9/11
Well at least Westfield has opened a new mall at the new World Trade Center

R.I.P
The Mall At The World Trade Ctr
It's like this was the WTC's theme song, in a way. "How Deep is Your Love" by the Bee Gees.
In fact they were two song "How Deep is Your Love" and "I'm a woman" they both the theme song of the plaza and were playing when 9/11 happened...
@@newandretro6676 "she's always a woman to me"

@@CMilla69 because we have one video foutage at the beginning of the attack when the first plane it. And a guy decided to record it

It's very haunting and eery to be in that area again to me. But the second tower should have been rebuilt.
It was wonderful buildings, my uncle worked at the North Tower. This is a memory by Twin Towers. . .

There was a video store here before 9/11. Does anyone know what it was? I presume it was Sam Goody.
