Yes, but to be completely honest if they didn't get destroyed I may have not really known about them and would not be fascinated by them...kind of like if Titanic didn't sink no one would remember it...
Not happy that someone feels the way I do about these songs, but am at least a little relieved I don’t feel alone in the eeriness of listening to these Muzak’s. “She’s always a woman” has been ruined completely for me and I grew up on Billy Joel :/
This absolutely rocks, the visuals and the actual feel of this just feels… nostalgic in its own right and way, also props to the people who made the model and is working with the project, Im looking forward to this project and to see the World Trade centre be brought back to their peak glory!!
Beautiful work, this was a very moving feature. Hits home especially as someone who grew up in New York, when you mix the Billy Joel in you can almost feel the late summer air. I remember going up the south tower I believe in February of 2001 to tour it. One of the scariest elevator rides I ever went on y the sheer altitude change. The building although built in the late 60’d -70’s , still felt very advanced and futuristic like you were in some type of monolithic , marble structure. Once you got to the top floor, you were able to look down and sit in a step-down type of nook with nothing but a plexi-glass retainer bar to hold on to, to watch the city down below…yellow dots that turned out to be Taxi Cabs! Thanks for the memories of a very by gone time in history. May everyone who lost their lives on that horrible day Rest in Peace.❤️
Jaw-dropping and somehow terrifying at the same time. 😢 I particularly liked the shaky camera effect that gave it a tourist video feel. That added to the realism and was a nice touch. Amazing work!
Absolutely stunning beyond words. You should be mega proud of how amazing this looks, mate. UE5 truly is a beast in it's own form. Big props to you and Dante! Phenomenal job!
Finally a WTC CG, I really want to see a real time of the attacks, showing crucial points and situations from the perspective of survivors and witnesses, will we have a day?
Watch 9/11 One Day In America. Sounds like the perfect documentary series for you my friend! Inside The Twin Towers also seems like a good docudrama for you!
There’s a dashboard video of 9/11 in realtime with live news coverage, atc radio, fire department radio, map showing the planes and their status, ,a timeline of events, and the status of the targets, but I couldn’t post the link here. Channel is @christiankoller80
This is insane. Well done! Odd how a lot of Titanic people are also equally interested in the original WTC complex. Enviromental Muzak as heard in the plaza was a nice touch!
Visuals are astounding and pretty photorealistic in some scenes. The ones that really caugh my eyes are the ones with that shaking camera effects which gives an incredible realistic aspect, just like it was filmed nowdays (wet eyes moment) or a very cleaned up 4K footage of before the attacks. Some of these plans reminded me the Jack Taliercio ones when he was on the plaza. All that to say that it really is a hell of a slap in the face. Today's technologies (and thanks to UE5 and its highly realistic visuals and talented people) make it possible to revive, discover and re-discover things that have disappeared, in memory of those who built them, and those who were inside! I will follow that project with a great attention ^^ keep up the great work! :)
@@Xiroi87if memory serves me right there is footage( I don’t know if it’s still available) of the same area you see here when “She’s always a woman” is playing that was filmed while 9/11 was ongoing and debris was falling in the area.
I have a sort of PTSD from these songs unfortunately and i which i'd never clicked on the wrong video but i did. I really wish those towers would have still stood here today. So beautifully mad complexes and so many lives with futures that could have gone to a good thing that was wasted. People with birthdays , families , lives , thoughts and concerns just stripped away from earth with two of the tallest towers in the world simply because they went to work. God bless them. I really hope we can educate people about not just the attacks but also their purpose from the begging but most importantly the people that made it into what it was. 🇸🇪🇺🇲♥️.
Good day, in a wider sense, remembering the Towers is a reminder on the blow back effects of adventurous interventionism. Vietnam was already a sign of what could happen later. We were never obliged to be involved but we did. We did whatever we could to prop up the Saigon regime but ultimately it could not stand on its own feet. We airlifted lots of refugees and presumed refugees. Upon arrival, some of them moaned about the so-called US betrayal. Decades later, some of their grandkids are still hoping for a WW3 in Southeast Asia with US participation so that the Reds can be overthrown. 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. The supreme leader was Saudi. The movement was heavily influenced by Saudi thinking. Yet the establishment were keen to ensure a +ve image of the Saudis. When Bush43 took over, the establishment was more interested in creating a Cold War sequel with Russia and China. The establishment was obsessed with the big picture that it missed out the important details.
Detailed to the T!!!! Even recreated an angle from Home Alone 2: Lost In NY where Kevin goes to the towers. Also, tell me this song 10:12 sounds like Christmas in NY… Sad to see what’s gonna happen to them later on… 9/11/23
Needs more locations, like the observation deck, Windows on the World Restaurant, Underground mall, Marriot Lobby, Subway etc. I think you've seen the footage of the plaza on 9/11, recognize the angles of some of the shots, only there is no debris and smoke. Fantastic Job.👍👍
Kinda like Titanic Honor and Glory, there needs to be a game like that for the World Trade Center, probably titled something like World Trade Center Never Forgotten or something like that.
This is really cool It would be really want to play it you know someday I want to make a game where people can explore the entire complex and this is want I imagine it looking like so thank you for this looks so cool.
Any chance this'll be released for people to walk through themselves? Been following Dante's work for years but despite people asking constantly if this'll ever be something we can experience for ourselves, I've never heard him confirm or deny that he intends to release it or not. It's a shame, it's a gorgeous model
Very impressive. I wonder is there will ever be a 9/11 cinematic video game. With these graphics. Allowing you to play different characters. Each time you play. For more then , I don’t know , 20 different perspectives on the 9/11 attacks. Such as paramedic, police, firefighter, officer workers from various floor heights. This has always been something I’ve thought of irrelevant of if the game will ever be made. With no censorship for people who fell out or jumped out the WTCs.
I remember the eastside plaza footage, they sat in white chairs and had the camera recording “west” WTC6 and didn’t know someone was falling. And the camera op recorded them when they already 60-30 ft from the ground. They were running in the air, for about 3-5 seconds and crashed to the ground while the mean scream and cried. There was no noise from the jumper or the man who was falling and running in the air. Many people call this lol superman… I’ve seen multiple clips from the same footage.
Magnifique travail👍!
I would love to experience this space through Apple Vision Pro.!! And of course all possible WTC enviroments through VR because we have no hope of seeing those twin marvels being constructed ever again...
