Onde foi parar o belíssimo azul da imagem original? Ficou nos pálidos reflexos da água? Água refletindo um azul que não aparece no céu? Não entendi. Uma imagem fresca e luminosa ficou sombria.

I love your channel and art but am confused by why you (and other) water media artists lean so heavily into the gray and neutral tones?

Karel here That is why I love Johns work he paints like many of the masters. The grays subdue the painting. You've seen paintings bright an brassy. If that's what you like plenty to buy. Lots of greens not mixed an overly bright. All mediums of artist love grays.
