    There are so many positive traits of ADHD. It breaks my heart to only ever hear complaints and unsolicited advice on how to be normal. We won't ever be normal and nothing can change that. Thank you

    • @josje26
      @josje26 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What is normal anyway. We should be thankful for people who stand out a little to make life just a little more fun and interesting. Be glad you have a good heart that is te most important thing anyway.

    Thank you for the sweet words and kindness. Most people would look down on us with ADHD/ADD/AUTISM/Autistic spectrum and just label us annoying and replaceable, childish, immature, etc. (like my ex did when i have the 2nd and 3rd ones I mentioned) him and all my ex friends including those that were red flags 🚩 all along but I was too naïve at the time to see those flags. Glad I am getting myself out of toxic friendships that cannot handle someone autistic and childish (yep directed at my ex friend from junior high)✌️👋🚩

    This is so nice. I feel as though my brain never stops and it’s hard to accomplish anything. It’s so difficult having all these thoughts and ideas which never materialize because of executive function issues. It’s nice to know that those thoughts are appreciated though.

    That's what this is all about, accepting one another, no judgements or hate, ADHD is not an excuse, it's your blueprint since birth, accept the fact that you stand out, you're unique, let go of trying to be normal, you are normal because you are you. ❤🌿

    Aw thx for enjoying the roller-coaster conversation. My hubs calls them tangents. It's taken him yrs to catch on to how to roll with it. I used to get embarrassed by not "staying on topic" but every off shoot in the conversation really does pertain to the core conversation.
    It's beautiful coming across people without adhd that enjoy and appreciate the conversations they have with me.

      Yeah it’s because the _qualities_ make it harder to pay the bills. Can’t afford therapy but can’t get a second job because I’m stressed out with the one I have. A family isn’t even on the table anymore I just want an apartment and to not feel like a drain on society while overwhelming myself daily.

      @sacrilegiousboi978 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@Thomas_Wintersas much as it pains me to admit this, in many cases it’s true, I’ve noticed that many homeless people or those who have fallen through the cracks of society are good hearted and empathic people with brilliant and creative minds but absolutely no discipline, self regulatory skills or executive function - textbook undiagnosed and unmanaged ADHDers with no support systems.

    Just because we’re divergent doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. I’ve found having ADHD we see the world around us in such a complex unique way and it’s always Interesting what our minds can notice and come up with. Thankyou for appreciating our differences of seeing the world.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! I’m 40 years old and just realizing I have ADHD. I’m an artist and always just considered myself a creative thinker… so many ADHD traits lead to low self esteem and lowered self confidence… thank you for this inspiring reminder for us all to feel loved and appreciated for who we are and both what AND how we contribute in wonderfully different ways ❤
