@@vinny6_9 вынимаете ввиду Prestige Pro 2023? Я вот думаю: копить на него или не копить? Очень советовали на talk tennis как почти такое же ощущение как от Pro Tour 630....
Once you start to play, you can’t go away…. I’ve dabbled with a few different control frames since I started playing 20 years ago. But I always find my way back to a prestige. There is something special about it.
I’m 100% Head Prestige. I use (still now) the 2001 i.prestige mid and I’m playing 7 ITF futures in a row starting this Monday. I string them with Luxilon Alu Power at 24/23 kilos, and they are the most effective racket for control and accuracy. Nothing comes close…it helps that I have one of the hardest forehands in the world. So I tried the Prestige Classic 2.0 and I’ll be reviewing it soon on my TH-cam channel. But please HEAD: release an exact replica of the 2001 i.prestige mid (please don’t make it stiffer!!!) so that I can play with newer rackets. Mine are over 20 years old. Carpe prestigum 🎾🏆
I’m just getting back into the game after a long hiatus. Trying to figure out something comparable to my old goto, the prince graphite 90. Do you recommend the prestige in that category?
@@PaDutchRunner I never played with such a big racket head but today there are numerous rackets for you to choose from. It depends on how you hit now. Head definitely has a racket for you. Try a gravity in my opinion with low tension (50 pounds) with Alu power 1.25 and your game will have its racket to be hitting great again. I hit extremely flat and hard and my mid suits me. Thanks
@@jivoytennis the RA is 58. That’s the same RA that Head uses in their pro stock molds for many of their rackets including the PT10, PT57, and more. It’s flexible but it is PERFECT
Currently playing with a 2021 MP 18*19 and this week I got a Tour 600 and played it about 2 hours. Nothning beats the Feel of being in Control from the Prestiges. Tight string patterns suit be best as I like to provide my own power and seek for low-launch angle and as better cortrol as possibel. The 90 sq inch Tour 600 18*20 provides very good topspin.
As an intermediate player I appreciate the bare bones predictability from prestige. I use Speed pro now. It’s kind of the same but more helpful but not too much help that I doubt the feedback. Feedback is important. Anyone tried the 99 in Prestige? I am curious about that vs my speed pro.
Not many pros using them today. With so many models in the line, what do you consider a "Prestige"? Only the Pro? The MP's"? I play with a 2012 Prestige S IG Youtek, 98 sq in., 324 grams strung, just under 320 swing weight strung. That model year, Chris said to Spencer "not your typical Prestige but there is still a lot of Prestige in there...", and when reviewing the Prestige Mid that year, he seemed to say he had another favorite, possibly the Mid Plus. So which does this community consider a real Prestige?
As a former Prestige user.... I can say the Prince Phantom 97P and 93P are better.... they do the job that much better and this is coming from a long time prestige user.
Most pros are playing with the original OG frames... they're just painted to match the new releases so companies keep making the money... Djoker plays with a frame most similar to Ti. Radical MP, not a Speed...
Nice video, Chris, but where is Henri Leconte? As I recall, he had a big input in the release of the very first Prestige.
hey HEAD you forgot HENRI LECONTE who was certainly the first one to play with this frame on the professional circuit in 1987

Absolutely love my 2021 prestige! The new one looks sick as well, props to the designers at HEAD 😀

sold my prestige 600s and PT630s and Iprestiges, but Ive kept a pair of bnew IGprestige MPs, they are the sweetest feeling frames Ive ever tried
"Im traveling with three kids and wife, you can take them and shuffle them into the luggage compartment under but not my raquets" 😂
I've been playing with the IG since 2011 and have 4. Also have 3 YT which were not that popular.

I get the Pros reasons. But the ultra fan bois. Yea, not feeling that.
Give it a few years, son.
so if you want to play 90's level tennis play with Prestige

@@jaanschlemermeyer934 yeah liquidmetal one. its completely different from any prestige
My aim is to play 80's level tennis.
You didn't involve Hicham Arazi, the best Prestige backhand ever. Shame on you 👎
