Chad you are one of a kind. You are a master at what you do and you enjoy it that make it that much better. I could watch videos every day from you . Watching you and your boys reminds me of the times I worked with my dad. I miss that but I cherish every minute I did get to .
You all knocked out of the park! I love the extra video this week. I wish you had time for three videos a week! You give the most information, build the nicest quality vehicles, and the crew of family and friends are great. Keep up the amazing work!
I really admire what you and Paul are doing to this old Jeep Even with the upgrades you keel the "original" look (with or without rust) You to gentlemen ar putting skill into it That is what all your admirers appreciate and that is what makes the two channels so great. Please Please never change the look and feel of your channel Your family have become OUR family
Paul left you all the fun stuff to do but there ain’t nothing you all can’t handle with the help of your team. Good thing you had the little breaker bar to get the carrier out of that front axle!
Now we know why chad and the team get to finish all fab Rats projects. They do it once and man they all smash it right out of the park. Kenner. Brilliant idea.
I've tried a few penetrants but settled on PB Blaster. It works well and I can find it easily at local stores. I also like Aero Kroil but it's hard top find when I need a new can.
This is why I tear apart all my junkyard jewels before I reuse them, rust and dirt battles after the build are ridiculous ans a time wasting, maddening process, no thks. You folks do a lot of interesting projects and love family atmosphere as never had that. My kids were not interested until was done and then were pissed when I wouldn't let them drive what I built, lol
most people who pick on Paul are either jealous, just haters or only like shiny show queen builds. Paul builds working vehicles, To be driven and worked hard. he's a good guy and has built some cool and really capable stuff, all learned by hands on trial and error through derby cars. the fact he was able to get as much done on the Willy's with his arm broken at a vital part of the build, I think people should give him some more credit.
Kendal, that there is a dip switch. It dips headlamps from main beam to dipped headlights, and back again. Most modern cars, since say the 1980s, have had their headlamp dip switch on the indicator stalk(blinkers). A dimmer switch is the rotary switch you use to dim the instrument lights on the dashboard. Just saying 😉👍
Chad and the Boy's along with Tyson and Dusty have worked hard getting this Willy ready the OnX competition and it looks mighty good. Good job and you too Stacie!
Chad, you are the example for all fathers to follow. You and Mrs. Chad's Fab's have raised some outstanding young men. The knowledge you have taught them and they have learned and exhibited is priceless. They have shared the same outstanding quality in character. It's always enjoyable watching your channel and the work that the team you have assembled. Are able to complete. There is no doubt about your current success. Nor is there a question of your continuing success. I am looking forward to seeing the growth and expansion of your shop. Plus, the future builds to come.
I think I"m getting a little sleepy driving here time to plug in the speedometer. No sleeping through that ! That sounded like R2D2 Grandpa malfuntioning. Now go get some sleep. Thanks Chad for that video. Your the best and most patient, parent, husband, mechanic, grandpa ever.
There’s a lot of work involved in these non conventional builds, that don’t involve manual effort, and take many years experience , to be able to do it, you keep going Chad, we both know the young’ns will understand eventually. 🤣
Watching Chad and crew taking care of Paul's "I don't wanna do its" is great, but keep the camera on that precious granddaughter, some things are just more important...
I use WD40 for basic needs and Kroil for the tough stuff. I just ordered a can of Schaeffer Penetro 90 that you use to see how it does. Keep up the good work, always enjoy watching your videos a lot. I always feel bad for you when you have to come behind Paul. Good luck!!!
I use Mouse Milk. Admire your tenacity and work ethic. It would be fun for you to do a look back segment and mention all the vehicles you have worked on over the last several years. I love the content.
This year quite a few of the ONIX OffRoad Build Contestants ran seriously short of time. Evolving Rules, and Conditions, and changeable Rule-Interpretation-decisions, has, resulted in moving-goalposts (apparently). Several contestants have commented to this effect.
Seems to me that Sometimes lol friends Stick there Problems on to you to fix and say Oooo i thought it was all ok 😏 ! Good thing a person has friends he/she can count on😅! Happy Everyone else's Problems are fix , Now u can work on ur Own Stuff ! 👍 I know How im bringing my Problems too 😮 You ✌️😉 ! Great to Watch ur Work , it's always First Class
34:35…..oooooohhhhhh…..” i didn’t even have to put an X on that spot or anything”….. was a dig on Merlin’s x marks the spot for the shifter on Paul’s previous project ?????
You being part of On X Challenge, this is probably a non paying job...curses Batman 😮... my favorite penetrant is PB Blaster, have a better rest of this job,Chad...
I still can’t find mirrors that actually let you see anything out of the old Willy’s. My next step is to put in cameras and a screen to be able to see…
A lot got done to upgrade that Willy's truck. Just the beginning to get road worthy. Weird that the wiper design leaves a rectangular area not covered. Sucks for the speedometer cable. Do the water temperature and gas gages work? Road trip, taking any tools or contingency spares? Robbie dumped another late one on your team. But the rear and front axle assemblies are ready for transport.
Hey a team any good leader is only as good as his team though Chad deserves much respect his team and Mrs Stacey deserves just as much and you all do a fast good and beautiful job korbin will be your boss one day just saying
Robbie is trying to sabotage the timeline of the Willy project by having y'all do axels. I guess he needed to reduce his work on the "brand new" overlander. He hasn't got much stock on his bread van
Chad, after fighting all that rust, why didn't you put something on it to stop more rust? Wouldn't your spray help prevent more rust? Maybe it's just a waste of spray? Thanks!
The wagon is looking great But here you are stopping your work to help Robby’s last minute project Looks like he’s going to need it But if you’re worried about finding a good 1 ton housing Robby has cornered the market on them Hillbilly unloaded a whole simi trailer full about a week ago
Man I feel sorry for anyone who has to come in after Paul, and you sir probably have the most experience with that challenge.
Chad you are one of a kind. You are a master at what you do and you enjoy it that make it that much better. I could watch videos every day from you . Watching you and your boys reminds me of the times I worked with my dad. I miss that but I cherish every minute I did get to .

Epic effort. Thank you all so much for the excellent content.
I can't express my full gratitude for what you guys show us on YT but anyone would be lucky to have you in their corner keep up the amazing work
Thxs so much i luv the work your boys do can't get enough of them ..

Your right ,it is the best one you can find easily. There are better ones but they are hard to find
Good morning from Tennessee. Hope all is well there.
Honest good old school know how. It is great to watch you guys work together as a well oiled machine.
What a nice family.it’s reassuring to watch you all work together!
This is why I tear apart all my junkyard jewels before I reuse them, rust and dirt battles after the build are ridiculous ans a time wasting, maddening process, no thks. Awesome ❤
Good morning Chad's Fab'ulous family
It's a beautiful machine Chad you and Paul are killing it brother
Well even with the time crunch, you guys did an Amazing job. I think Paul will be very pleased. Thanks for the video guy's 👋
Beautiful as usual love your channel you cheer me up
I find it funny people pick on Paul's abilities yet look at all the FJ he built and the Tow truck he built does. He does many things I could never

Keep the beard Chad 👍👍
Another great video. You have a wonderful family. Reminds me of mine. Greatest blessing there is.
Chad, you are the example for all fathers to follow. You and Mrs. Chad's Fab's have raised some outstanding young men. The knowledge you have taught them and they have learned and exhibited is priceless. They have shared the same outstanding quality in character.

Another great build by you and the crew. Always a great video.
Wow you guys are so talented, fun to watch people that know what they are doing
Looks like Paul put all the puzzle pieces together and put them in a box and then gave you the box!
@9:07😅oh Tyson łøł (you work for Stacy) that gots to be on T-shirt. Respectively done, right Stacy? 👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Chad, You have a great crew !!!!!
Chad Fab is the absolute best automotive youtube channel. Professional in every way.
Yesssssss a surprise video from Chad and crew, you guys are the best ❤🏴
Like Kroil & PB Blaster - sorry but WD-40 is a great hand cleaner light weight lubricate :)
Pb is great if you give it time to settle in
As an retired locksmith,/ safe tec. I used Kroil on old safes always able to remove bolts ,unless the bolts were already halfway rusted through.
Thanks for more captivating contents.
The Willeys is ready for Paul. He sure has been having bad luck with transmissions. Oops forgot mirrors!
There’s a lot of work involved in these non conventional builds, that don’t involve manual effort, and take many years experience , to be able to do it, you keep going Chad, we both know the young’ns will understand eventually. 🤣
Kroil is my favorite penetrater, but Liquid wrench or P B Blaster is more often used due to the cost of Kroil!
COOL JEEP!
just an FYI the spray foam once ignited is highly flammable. Usually grinding won't start it, but please be careful with the stuff.
Watching Chad and crew taking care of Paul's "I don't wanna do its" is great, but keep the camera on that precious granddaughter, some things are just more important...
Spectacular video as always!!
My Favorite thing for rusty nuts and bolts is the gas axe👨🏻🏭cant be stuck if it's liquid molten lava😂
Overlanding that light will be fine. Great job..
Robbies gonna have a nice truck if he gets it together. I have a feeling it's gonna have a SEMA bluetooth drivetrain.😂
Wonderful family you already knew that! 😊
Mopar rust penetrant 😉eats rust for breakfast 😊
BG In Force for the win! It's a more controllable spray than others!
I use Mouse Milk. Admire your tenacity and work ethic. It would be fun for you to do a look back segment and mention all the vehicles you have worked on over the last several years. I love the content.
You have passed on the addiction and knowledge to your family. Great Dad!
I bet you and tom tom could get alot done, CORRECTLY, The first time. Like minds
I would have called Paul and said, "sorry dude you need to bring me a functioning replacement front axle asap."
This year quite a few of the ONIX OffRoad Build Contestants ran seriously short of time.

I think Paul Cox's new nickname is going to be No Paint Paul. Everything is full of 'patina'.
Mirrors who needs mirrors, always look forward, keep the past in the past and don't look back.
There’s always a time crunch on any build, even if there’s no deadline, sometimes ya just want it done 😂😂
Seems to me that Sometimes lol friends Stick there Problems on to you to fix and say Oooo i thought it was all ok 😏 ! Good thing a person has friends he/she can count on😅! great as always great content very entertaining good job
Chad you guys always do such a great job!
Try “free all” for your rusty parts.
You are amazing Chad I enjoy your shows man
You being part of On X Challenge, this is probably a non paying job...curses Batman 😮... my favorite penetrant is PB Blaster, have a better rest of this job,Chad...
Great job under pressure!
Chad, Like the beard!!! It’s got character you should keep it!
One thing bout Chad and Crew you can learn from him and them ❤
I still can’t find mirrors that actually let you see anything out of the old Willy’s. My next step is to put in cameras and a screen to be able to see…
Aloha to my favorite TH-cam channel CHAD FAB, you and your family and workers is always fixing Paul ##### ##?
39:47 like the sun, but great for filming pieces to camera. ❤
Kaden you are very good at making parts with the 3D printer. I wish I had one and knew how to work it 😂😢
JB 80 twice as good Lol!!!!
That’s what we used at the Ford Dealership worked good
Typical Fab Rat junk! Good work Chad and crew!
I've had good success with PB Blaster
Hey a team any good leader is only as good as his team though Chad deserves much respect his team and Mrs Stacey deserves just as much and you all do a fast good and beautiful job korbin will be your boss one day just saying
YOU GOT THIS CHAT YOUR THE MAN
I am very impressed CHAD FAD
Free All Deep Penetrating Oil Rust Remover, is my go to.
Fine work gentlemen
Robbie is trying to sabotage the timeline of the Willy project by having y'all do axels.
I guess he needed to reduce his work on the "brand new" overlander.
He hasn't got much stock on his bread van
no matter how long the job takes, always bill by the hour...!
Chad after you found those rusted hub bearings you should have also changed all the ball joints
The wiring machine doing his thing😂😂😂
PB Blaster for the price point, KROIL is $$$$$$$$
I used to use Release-all but it's gotten hard to find. Now I just use WD-40 and heat or brake fluid, trans fluid(DM3) and diesel.
Chad, after fighting all that rust, why didn't you put something on it to stop more rust? Wouldn't your spray help prevent more rust? Maybe it's just a waste of spray? Thanks!
Enjoy you Channel
I know that speedo sound. Had a 59 Chevy pu and it did that till I put Vaseline on the back of the cable
P B Blaster is mine.
Chad that's a horrible sound coming from that vehicle during the test drive
Liquid Wrench I seen 02 sensor not brake loose liquid Wrench no problem turn the 02 sensor it Does the job that WD-40 not do
43:30 Chad that thing got issues. I remember Its a Chevy.
Are you guys worried that Paul said he put in a bad transmission in it? The ones that keep breaking
The wagon is looking great
But here you are stopping your work to help Robby’s last minute project
Looks like he’s going to need it
But if you’re worried about finding a good 1 ton housing
Robby has cornered the market on them
Hillbilly unloaded a whole simi trailer full about a week ago
Is there a cooling fan for the computer in the console to keep from over heating? Love your work Chad n team!
Where did Paul get that axle? I looks like it might have come with the Yellow Submarine.
Sometimers is what I call it.
Not having the mirror... I don't think that's any reflection of your quality control!
