Amy, I love your wonderful videos and there is no need at all to edit. Make it as easy on yourself as you can. I bet there are others that feel the same way. I have been watching Chet’s channel almost from the beginning and just love the honesty of all of you. Doug or as the channel says Dougo is so funny. His expressions are just the best. You share from your great warm heart and it comes through on the videos. Just be you, you are doing great! Thanks for your time and your effort!

Guys, it's your mom, she home schooled you. I can only imagine how much patience and explanation of what you did not understand it took. Just maybe it's time to return the blessing. In my side gig I help GEN Xer's and older with computers, their kids being patient and explaining terms and concepts foreign to them is their biggest challenge. It often becomes an anxiety exercise for the parent. I can hear Chet saying "exactly, that's why I don't do it." Funny to you, probably not to her, maybe unintentionally hurtful.
Who has Loved you your whole life, no matter what? Love is not what you say, it's what you do. Show your mom some patient Love.

Your such a prophetic and spiritual speaker.
There's sometimes I don't want to get up and moving since I'm an amputee but just your graceful voice and the fun you have with hubby is the best on TH-cam.
I enjoy when you read excerpts from the Bible which gives me more strength and makes my day that much brighter.

It is identified as RAW presentation content. Early movie makers i.e. late 1800's and early 1900's shot RAW content without editing. Frankly, it is very nice to see such classic practices still being utilized and displayed - in a world that is AI generated : ) I say - FLOW with what U know to be TRUE : ) ...

Hi from England. Great video and forget the editing, leave it to the young ones. My daughter sorts tech stuff for me. I have trouble doing more than phone calls with my mobile! Keep up the videos, they are as good as your sons.
Our generation, either we are good with technology, or just haven't learned to do anything with it. I can fix and diagnose new car's with a diagnostic computer that can do many thing's, but a regular computer, not so good, and would have no idea how to edit a video. I like your video's whether you edit them or not, but if you feel up to the challenge, then try it. I always like to see you and doug in a video, he's a bit more subdued around you, which is different than when he's around the guy's, and i find the home stuff interesting as he explains what he's doing. Hopefully the new part of the driveway will help in the winter, he did have trouble with getting the bigger equipment in there, and hopefully stone won't get stuck this winter. G-d bless.

Don't worry about the editing, just be yourself. Natural is good.
Think of editing like those word magnets. Each clip you have recorded would be a full sentence magnet. You can take each sentence and stick them end to end to make a paragraph, but they don't have any punctuation. Transitions would be the punctuation. You can skip some of the punctuation, but skip too much and it's hard to read. Using the same transition over and over can be a little boring, but it's still perfectly fine. Some of those sentences need to be split up so you cut them aparts and take out a couple extra words or maybe you have to put this other little sentence in the middle.
Before long, you'll have a nice paragraph all ready to publish.

Sounds like you have a new learning plan lined up for an increase in prosperity! As a "boomer" I've been on a similar plan learning how to use iMovie as well as the features in Instagram. My grandkids living life provide some great footage.

Amy, I was voluntold that I needed to record church services during covid to put on out website. It was daunting, but after the first 30 or so 'episodes' I got the hang of it. lol All I can advise is 'you do you' and use your stubborn streak to your advantage.
No worries on the footage you recorded, you will figure out how to post it. Just surprise us with it when you like it.

Cicadas The sound is produced only by males, mostly for the reasons you might imagine. There are congregational songs, in which males synchronize their calls. The choruses establish territory and attract females. So they calling you I guess 🤷🏻♂️😂 they sure get noisy here in Michigan to. Dang boys 😅😂

As far as editing goes I would think that is entirely up to you. Some things can use a touch up and others are fine the way they are.
You do just fine I think. No need to edit. The new driver you were talking about might have some good thoughts on the driveway from what you indicated. Just leave it be then. Totally up to you i would think. You do great with the camera.

I have a nephew who is a computer software design engineer, his two little girls are smart as a whip, in fact all the younger people in the family are light-years ahead of me when it comes to computer stuff. That's just fine with me. When I need anything to do with "computer" stuff I hand it off to them, and presto, it's all fixed up and I don't have to spend half a day pulling my hair out. Now then, being in my mid 60's I have a lot of information I can share with them, so it works out well for everyone. 😊 ❤️🚜🇺🇸 🤍🚜🇺🇸 💙🚜🇺🇸
