For next Halloween I'm planning on making a movie spring bonnie suit (and maybe wear it to see fnaf 2 movie if it comes out) and I've never done cosplay so I might use this and other videos as reference so thank you

I want to make accurate gloves but idk how, the hard part is the metal hinges, how do I remake those?? I've got an idea with some hinge pieces I found on amazon, but it won't be as accurate
Mr. Fred bear I hope this reaches you!!!!! First let say love your video and I'm extremely impressed with how talented you are not only with your costume creativeity but also with your video editing and production!!!! My oldest child G is a super FNAF FAN and has been since pretty much the begining. Last night I was asked to help with a project and of course I jumped at the opportunity. Comic con Albuquerque is only a couple weeks away and I've been tasked with making a "movie spring Bonnie" costume. Thankfully I was shown your video. I desperately want to make the costume that g has in mind. This video is already a huge help but with only two weeks away I'm nervous.... If there is any way I could get a little advice I would be for ever great full. I hope this reaches you in time, either way this video has given me a huge "head start" I've never worked with E.V.A. foam and know with a little advice from you I can get close to what g has in mind. I can't even imagine how busy you must be and hate to bother but I'm willing to do anything for my children so I hope you understand!!!
Well thank you for your kind words but let me get into it Advice, hmmm Well for starters if you wanna make a quick suit I suggest sweat shirts and sweat pants cut up to make the body, black sweat shirts and pants under, then the color robot of choice over (For example: Spring bonnie is yellow so I'd have yellow sweat shirts and pants, then cut the joints, elbows, shoulders, knees, places for the black to show through, thats how i make most of my costumes anyway, in this video spring bonnie's arms and legs are built with foam but not only is that expensive, im not the best at it) Now for the main piece, the head The head is the most important piece so I'd say to start there you can make the whole head out of eva foam or Craft foam, or like in this video, both eva foam is great for teeth and eyebrows and can make blocks to connect the ears craft foam is great because its like a car sponge as a matter a fact, you can make the big muzzle and ears out of car sponges its cheap and works well, in fact my Fredbear and Freddy heads use car sponges for muzzles you can make a good nose out of clay the eyes are just Styrofoam balls scooped out with a spoon everything can be glued together with hot glue Eva foam and craft foam will work well with hot glue if you're gonna use contact cement, use it mainly for EVA foam since craft foam is like a sponge, it usually soaks up all the contact cement. Last thing i'll say is fabric, Do. Not. Use. What. I. Used. In. This. Video. I used a fleece blanket in this video, I found it on amazon but cutting into a fleece blanket is like having the worlds most shedy dog that stuff sheds everywhere and sticks to everything Fleece is not your friend use, anything else in my opinion hope this helps
yes! you want it more "fit to your face" if i'm understanding correctly. Id say use thin EVA foam, and scale the base to your head. Make the muzzle small, as big as the gap from your eyes to your mouth is. and then make everything proportional to that change.
styrofoam sphere, i cut it in half, hallowed it out, and cut a whole in the middle to see out of. You can also cut a clear christmas ornament in half, drill out the hole and paint it white and get a better result, but i only had the styrofoam at the time so i went with what I had!
Let it be known that this isn't a hate comment. I love the costume. It looks amazing. But one thing is and it's not just you but other people that make fnaf costumes and I tend to notice this. It's that either the arm or leg proportions do not look like full pieces. In this case the legs. Trust me I am not a costume maker. So idkhow difficult it it to make that. So trust me when I say AMAZING JOB. but I will say as an opinion and possibly advice for next time. When making these suits, try putting on straps so that was not only you can add knee pads. But it will help with the proportions of the suit and hide more of the black suit. But like I said. (And I cannot stress this enough) No hate. I don't hate this, I love this. It's just a small criticism I have.
I made a big rectangle, then a small rectangle. Then I used the small rectangle to wrap tightly around the center of the bigger rectangle. Hot glue in place
@@heiseicreations you're all good, i dont mind questions. The stuff i got was thick , like 10 mm? Though I'd recommend a little bit thinner, as you'll get more for your money

Advice, hmmm
Well for starters
if you wanna make a quick suit
I suggest sweat shirts and sweat pants cut up to make the body,
black sweat shirts and pants under, then the color robot of choice over
(For example: Spring bonnie is yellow so I'd have yellow sweat shirts and pants, then cut the joints, elbows, shoulders, knees, places for the black to show through, thats how i make most of my costumes anyway, in this video spring bonnie's arms and legs are built with foam but not only is that expensive, im not the best at it)
Now for the main piece, the head
The head is the most important piece so I'd say to start there
you can make the whole head out of eva foam or Craft foam, or like in this video, both
eva foam is great for teeth and eyebrows and can make blocks to connect the ears
craft foam is great because its like a car sponge
as a matter a fact, you can make the big muzzle and ears out of car sponges
its cheap and works well, in fact my Fredbear and Freddy heads use car sponges for muzzles
you can make a good nose out of clay
the eyes are just Styrofoam balls scooped out with a spoon
everything can be glued together with hot glue
Eva foam and craft foam will work well with hot glue
if you're gonna use contact cement, use it mainly for EVA foam
since craft foam is like a sponge, it usually soaks up all the contact cement.
Last thing i'll say is fabric,
Do. Not. Use. What. I. Used. In. This. Video.
I used a fleece blanket in this video, I found it on amazon
but cutting into a fleece blanket is like having the worlds most shedy dog
that stuff sheds everywhere and sticks to everything
Fleece is not your friend
use, anything else in my opinion
hope this helps
I have a question how I could make the mask look slimmer. I Love your effect but I wish mine were smaller if you know what I mean?
yes! you want it more "fit to your face" if i'm understanding correctly. Id say use thin EVA foam, and scale the base to your head. Make the muzzle small, as big as the gap from your eyes to your mouth is. and then make everything proportional to that change.
Thanks for help :)
