ciao spero tu capisca l'italiano, volevo sapere se il volantino attaccato all'albero lato frizione per intenderci, hai riscontrato difficoltà a toglierlo, e inoltere, so che si puo toglierlo per avere una risposta piu agressiva dell'acceleratore
fammi sapere e complimenti per il video.

    Hello to you
question can you change the seal spy villebrequin clutch side without opening the engine complement
only by removing the clutch housing rating ????? it's possible, my motorbike smokes blue and you don't slow it down also it consumes box oil thank you

well you might be able to. Try it. YOu got nothing to loose otherwise you'll have to take it apart anyway. Honestly if the seal is broken most likely you have bigger bearing issues. These seals were perfect on my bike did not leak. So I suspect theres play in crank.

Awesome job brother :) I'm not sure about the '90 or'91 Zero's {or the 89.5 prototype}, but the '92 and '93 Zero's had magnesium cases for sure, and were problematic if you didn't use the specified coolant because any other coolant formula would corrode the magnesium internaly, eventualy infiltrating into the transmission. They used magnesium for these years because it's stronger and lighter than aluminium, but the concept was flawed due to the magnesium being so susceptible to corrosion, and externally too - the fins on the lower front of the engine block would eventually corrode from exposure to water, as per rain rides and creek crossings.
I've really been wanting to purchase another older Beta since selling my 2005 Rev3... any 90's Zero, Techno, Synt or Alp would have been a nice restoration project, and I have seen several over the years for sale, and at a good price too... but I know from experience that Beta Factory Inc. was next to impossible to contact for international ordering, and were subsequently always short on after-market parts and logistical support for their older models - in fact, I spoke with the only Beta importer for Canda several years ago {Mountain Motorcycles Ltd, Coquitlam, BC} and he told me that Beta does not re-issue any parts for bike's that are 15 yrs. out {at best} from their current models --- so any serious restoration for these older (and beautiful) bikes is relegated to the proverbial dust in the wind :(
All said, in looking back.... I really miss my '92 Zero, my '96 Techno, and my '04 and '05 Rev3's (I rode trials for over 14 yrs) .... but I'm still getting out on a Honda CRF for some fun at least :)
Enjoy your Zero my friend, and don't be too hard on that beautiful vintage Italian machine... 'cuz she's a keeper !!! -------- God bless you
