- So far no issues, the speedo calibration seems somewhat normal with oem calibration.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! Super stoked to do this to my '19 FTR!
No problem!
That exhaust dont look stock, sounds awesome. Going to check your channel to see if it's covered.
It is! I have lots of videos about it in my ftr1200 playlist
Great stuff Mike!

Where did you get rims and how much it's on bucket list for my 19 ftr1200
direct from www.indianmotorcycle.com/en-us/ its just a replacement set of wheels off a 2023 Sport or carbon model bike. Depends on the color you want. and around $1k USD for the wheels
Interesting project, bike looks great. I'm a bit confused about your ride height comparisons between the 19/18" and 17" models. As well as the wheel sizes don't the 19/18" wheeled bikes also have longer travel and, so I assume longer shocks and forks? Also do the footpeg to seat distances differ?
I have 2022 ohlins on this bike, explained a little here
th-cam.com/video/Exnms7E1x_0/w-d-xo.html
the 19/18in wheel bikes do have increased suspension travel, but overall length of the forks/shock is very similar. Pics are here

And the angle of the footpegs on the bikes with 17s is slightly different.
@@Ferraiolo_1 That's a comprehensive reply. Too kind. Thanks. 👍
I got a 2019 FTR S, with sachs suspension. My 17 wheels will arrive soon, so I was wondering...if I put 190 on rear, do I need to raise the front suspension or you left it untouch?
so is everything plug and play, that's it? maybe the abs bracket needs relocation? Thank you!
@@horiagheorghe7578 no, with the 180 you should be fine to leave things alone. But you will loose a good bit of lean angle
@@Ferraiolo_1 thanks ! but do you recommend going with 190 or 180? Which one do you prefer?
Great vid Mike. She looks fat mate 👍😎
Did u notice any increase in fuel economy after running the sprocket u are running now, being that its not revving so high at highway speeds?
I have not. Its pretty much been a steady 100 miles per tank +/- 20ish depending how im riding.
Is there a reason I can't sign up for the FTR1200 forums with a gmail account? It keeps saying "The email address you entered has been banned by the administrator. Please try another."
I unfortunately dont have access to that stuff, i can only see pending approvals. Who ever set up the website only has access to it. I assume there is a blocker in place.
Are you required to do the drop bracket, or is it more aesthetic?
Purely for looks
@@Ferraiolo_1 excellent. Thanks man. Been trying to decide if I want one of these bikes. I think I’d get 2019 and swap the tires for knobs and get a pair of 17” for road. Best of both worlds
@@SkipRides you can also buy a newer one and find a cheap set of 19/18s to put on it
@@Ferraiolo_1 only the 2023 with the correct tone rings ?
@@Ferraiolo_1 kinda want the higher suspension of the 2019 tho
