I listened to the audio version of this, sort of subconsciously while i was snoozing, came to this summary and it's almost as if i can play these scenes in my head. woah! Now, to type up this essay... *sigh*
Wikipedia has a source from a 1912 book which stated a mina was about $18 and some change, which adjusted for inflation would today be between $400 and $500 dollars. So that would mean Socrates ultimately proposed a fine equating to roughly $12 - $15,000. But other assertions as to its value differ from this considerably.
Could you tell me what type of software you are using to make this video? I'm trying to make something similar however I can't figure out the right software.
The people of today would see the reasons for the trial as common place! This is what we see today, especially with the likes of Jordan Peterson. We forget our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, was arrested, tried, found guilty and crucified!!!
two bears, What was the purpose of the Apology? Is it a philosophical treatise or a historical account? You do not address this important question. Only the defense is presented. Why? Another important fact you don't address. What was Plato's reason for writing this so called dialog? Again you do not address this important question. You're not alone in the way you attempt to explicate this work. Generally it is presented as historical with a soliloquy that is his defense that he expects will fail, as he says. Many years ago I memorized every word of this work and was able to work on it anytime and anywhere and did so even in my sleep. It would take too long to to explicate it here but if you're going teach you should have something to say. This work has an architecture as do all of the dialogs. Process is always more important than content. Form follows function. Find the works natural parts and see how they work and you may find the beauty and the meaning which you have not shown us.

I see no wrong in acknowledging the gods but bowing to gods is a different story.
