Like the nice short format!!! Almost think these could be broken up into 3 5 minute videos on each topic by themselves. For each topic it would have been interesting to see how each technique worked with different colors, specifically I'm thinking the metallic example here.
Love this format for the tutorials would love to have more from you guys like this. I have actively avoided the transparent paints just because I was not sure how to use them. Now it’s going to be hard to pick between the transparent and the fluorescent for my next purchase lol.
i love my set. got everything but the signature series. these paints are amazing love them I used the transparent yellow on a beholder I painted jade with lighter shades for highlights and then slapped the transparent yellow on it to make it all come together and it looks so nice. Thank you Momument Hobbies.
It's meant as a mixer for the other transparents, to lighten them to achieve any color, as well as a great way to do effects like OSL, and other lighting, where you need to do that slight brightening of the surface that a normal white would blow out.
I've been thinking about buying these for a while. One question I have is how do they behave when you put them through an airbrush? And I guess the followup would be - how do you best prep them to use them that way?
Ahhh, I see a lot of pro acryl tutorial add transparent paint, but still wonder what will they do in my paint job. Now I guess it is some paint like contrast and glaze paint. Maybe a full paint guide video will be more easy to so what and why we need these paint.
How can you use transparent white? Given the typical properties of white, I'm wondering how it behaves in the techniques you showed here. I have some Liquitex Titanium White acrylic ink, but I use it mainly for zenithal through the airbrush... is there something I'm missing?
So this is nice and all, but I'd consider this a medium level video, I'd actually love a true beginner level. I think that would get more people interested in how you used these. I know I wouldn't have even had an idea how to repeat what you did even a year ago, and even now I think I understand but haven't done it myself, and I'm sure there are tons more like me.
Can you cover a way to avoid or "repair" the paint that gets "stuck" in the cap of the pot and becomes "pasty" with time. I have this problem with almost all of the paints after a while but particularly the transparent. A thorough shake and even a Vortex mixer doesn't the issue. The paints are still usable but you run the risk of pressing too much and then shoot the paste and then the paint and wasting it since it's too much
This only happens when you leave the twist open, so make sure to close after every use all the way. You can pull the twist section off and then poke out any thicker paint with a toothpick easily if needed, but should be easy to avoid by just closing them tightly each time.
I feel like the metallic show off didn't go as well as anticipated. I just ended up being a metallic red paint, which you can do with standard red and standard metallic paint- or any one of dozens of colored metallic paints on the market. I was really hoping it was going to show how to take your metallics to the next level by shading using the transparents rather than a standard wash. But alas.
These are just the tip of the iceberg as an intro to the paints. Transparents and metallic medium just do it better. You can then mix and shade however you like.
More of these please!
Absolutely
I love the leather method yall show using these. I may or may not have been thinning them enough but will fix that in the future.

Jordan is literally stirring for half of this video. Great video.
The new video is an unexpected mini painting ASMR!
Love the transparents. Waaay easier to use than inks, sturdier, and the colors are gorgeous
More tutorials on how to use your line. Thank you!
Also makes an outstanding wash! Mix Transparent paint with Pro Acryl black wash! PERFECT!!!!
Incredible video Jordan!!
These videos work guys. I've personally put it two orders this week because content you made tempted me.

can you maybe make a video how to glaze your standard paints with water? I often struggle with yours due to pgiment density
We can do that!
@@MonumentHobbies awesome
Love seeing a longer BabyJ tutorial!
Thank you for going over these!
I've been looking for something like this for quite a while. Thanks!
they are worth it. it was a pleasure to use these.
Tutorials like this are fantastic. ❤
Good walkthrough!

I have the full pro acryl range, haven't used the transparents yet, so this is good motivation to bust them out
Great video, down dirty and right to the point.
So glad I switched to this brand the paints are so. Freaking. Good.
Fantastic video
I used the transparent orange over the base orange for my Necrons and it REALLY makes it pop.
I like the first and third method , very insightful !
This was incredibly helpful as this was one of only 2 P.A. sets I don't have (which was due to ignorance) but now I'm sold!
Yes, please do more of tutorial stuff for your products! Amazing stuff, even if get it is challenging rn
Love these videos. Please keep them coming lol
Great vid.
As I recall all of these are single pigment as well, so they mix together very smoothly and easily.
Loved this video! My next project of minis will be dedicated to playing around with various applications for transparent paints.
This is very helpful. I had no idea what these were and thought they more like speed paints/contrast paints. Good to know!
Thank you! I've been wondering what to do with the transparent paints since I got them.
I'd love to see how the MH studio would use transparent white. So far, I've been using it as an edge highlight.

Dang now I gotta order another set!

Jordan is so handsome. Great stuff. :)

Very good tutorial, question: the transparent green looks quite teal, is that an effect of lighting, undershade hue, or post?
Ty!
5:16 are you guys using true phthalocyanine pigment in your transparent green?
I like this guy. He looks like he knows a good place to get pizza.
Which color tastes the best?

What is the white transparent paint for?
Are these essentially the pro acryl verison of contrast/speedpaint?
what colors are the leather?
Does the glaze make the paint it's mixed with glossy or matte?
Our Glaze / Wash medium is also matte finish, so it keeps the paints just how you like 'em!

I always close the lid after taking the paint
Transparent Magenta, please!
I liked the part where BabyJ was in it

My Dumbass thought I could use these to paint transparent figures and I just made a huge mess lol
The previous 'tutorials' are terrible. This is much better.
Why use so much paint? That was 8 drops of green and 8 drops of medium when you probably could have covered everything with 1 drop of each.
More of these please!
