Heh, the PC version is a lot longer, and a lot harder. And it's an entirely different game with different tracks and much more difficult maneuvers. Although, this is clearly using a refined version of the NFS engine, which is cool. On PC, NFS 1, 2, Hot Pursuit [3], High Stakes [4] and Porsche Unleashed [5] all use the same basic game and rendering engine, just further developed in each iteration. I love the way that this engine gives a sense of control and creates immersion. The PC NFS:PU is by far the best of the series, with most accurate modelling of car handling in the games history. PS1 doesn't have the oomf to do proper physics modelling with it, so there's not much challenge here, or the dev team didn't know how to make a car that's enjoyable to drive and control but looses control on the limit fast. So, the tires just stick to the road as if glued and the body roll isn't reflected in the center of mass moving around, meaning the car won't under/over steer.
ahhh bring to me beautiful memories 🤚😔
Factory Driver is much longer in the PC version (34 assignments)
the car deliveries are somewhat harder because of the cops
I don't mind the car delivery or racing missions. The skid pad/test drive missions of the PC version were hard
I miss NFS Porsche and High Stakes sm!!
👍😍
Those are really the best and with some shady internet stuff totally playable on Windows 10, Porsche even at 4k!
It's so different looking from the PC version!
It is like a completely different game, the PC version is way better imo
Sound is also horrible compared to pc

different game, try ps1 version, made me love assetto corsa
people rag on this version but I think for the PS1 it's a solid version. It's completely different but a fun arcade racer.
why every car sounds the same? also they sound like 3 rotor wankels lol
