Excellent restoration i really enjoyed watching it . Because of your video i actually purchased a Breakaway bucket on Ebay to restore , it's the darker blue variation .
    Thank you for the inspiration.

Beautiful restoration! The model very much resembles the 1974 Pontiac Grand Camino concept car. I enjoy your videos.

Nice job. But next time you have a kid painted window drop it in a baggie and spray it liberally with blue easy off, save you lots of sanding time

I’ve never heard of that. I’m going to look into it. Thanks!

Nice job, but I'm curious as to where you got those type of redline wheels, all I can find is the bearing and cap style

Ebay for $10. I also had a lot of problems finding them.

Looks great! I can't believe I have never seen that Hot Wheels before! What kind of car is it supposed to be?

      It's called the breakaway bucket

It looks like the hood from a Pontiac Lemans

Very nice restoration/custom. I thin the decals on the hood are to much. Those around the back and over the rooftop are o.K. (The band only!) It seems to be a hybrid between an 1970s Firebird (frontend) an a El Camino Pickup (Rear)

I know you were going stock red line, but those decals are ugly!! Nice job on the build.

Nice job... but it looked a lot better before the decals. I just find the decals ugly in this case.

I kind of agree. I was going for a restoration and those were the reproduction decals I got.
