What's your opinion on the quality of the series throughout? USM vol 1 and 2 are some of the best comics I've ever read. But I think vol 3 took a step down in quality. Once Bagley left the comic, I stopped reading. Is it worth it to read the rest of the series?
It depends on what you liked about the early issues. I love the end of USM, because it starts to focus heavily on his extended cast. Johnny Storm, Bobby Drake, Gwen, and Kitty Pryde. Lots of fun banter.
I already owner the premier edition of death of spider-man and prelude, but purchased this anyway. So glad I did, great to read again and read fallout for the first time along with it. I did feel a little cheated when it was revealed survived, not because he survived but because we didn't see him take the mantle again along side Miles.
That would have been cool, at least the team up dynamic of Peter and Miles has been explored well in other media with the Spider-Verse films and the playstation games
i hate marvel for doing this, they clearly want to double dip with a vol 5 for more money, haven't picked up any usm yet because of this, very curious to see the mapping
I'm not sure what they'd add to Volume 5 that would make you want to double dip. This has all the missing USM issues from the end of Volume 4, plus the Ultimates vs Ultimate Avengers mini. Is there another USM miniseries they could add?
This omni follows on from vol 4 just fine. So you don't NEED a hypothetical vol 5 if and when Marvel announce it. There is some issues of ultimate team up and some other crossovers that aren't particularly meaningful that they could put in vol 5. Unless they plan to include Miles stories as well, which is unlikely as Miles has his own omnis
Nice I Have This Comic Book On My Birthday 😊

@@mitch-TO I think that's why I started to dislike it. I didn't like the extended cast haha. But to each their own
