- Proraso After shave is refreshing and toning! Splash it on and it gives you a real good wake up! Yet, it doesn't linger too long. It slowly fades away. It does not overwhelm.
Even though it has hints of menthol and eucalyptus, it doesn't smell like medicine. The scent is fresh and vibrant and cool.

No doubt that these are good products. Unfortunately I don't like any of their aftershaves. But, I like the Proraso Red (Sandlewood) shaving cream. It is in my rotation.

Easily my favorite aftershave, would be great if the scent lasted longer, becuase this smells great. Light but still masculine. I now too also use all the Proraso products after a process ot elimination. Using other products & with each one finding my way to one of the Proraso products. I started with the pre-shave, then aftershave & just recently the shaving cream & I'm not looking back, again i did this all while trying other products that i just didn't like as much as i do the Proraso stuff. This feels great after a good shave. After a shower i apply a little.of the pre shave & cover my face with a warm a barbers towel, while i get my shaving cream ready & razor ready. I add some Proraso shaving cream which is great by the way, shave & finish with this aftershave. I like the green line the most. The sensitive is nice too, but i really like how the green line smells & performs. I've tried a bunch of other types of aftershave but this is my go to. Great video.

Alcohol is a powerful antiseptic for razor cuts that oftentimes can't be seen with the naked eye. Only a fool would waste their money on aftershave without alcohol. Alcohol can kill MRSA and other staff infections that commonly live on the exterior of the skin and nostrils. Poraso also has a moisturizing feel and dosen't leave residue. Dont waste your money on the 3 ounce bottle from Amazon Walmart on line sells it in a 13.5 ounce bottle way better value.

Subtle. That is the key. I love that this is good for the office. Hard to notice after an hour, but smells great going on.

How is that skin bracer? Is it strong smell? I wonder if I could deal with it?...
It’s strong at first then it mellows out after 30mins. The overall sent lasts me 5hrs. It’s great to use in the summer time, has a very nice cooling effect.

I totally agree with you re the alcohol in aftershaves you can feel the benefits straight away they also contain soothing ingredients,I never use anything else except colognes afterwards.

Not yet, no. It's on my list, though.
Wish I could use Proraso, but I have really bad seb dermatitis and the alcohol kills my face.
But if you don't have a problem with dry skin, alcohol is the best. Especially since anti-bacterials are just bad news all around.
Matthew, Proraso makes a balm that, I think, is alcohol free.

Which is longest lasted good masculine smelly after shave fella ?
I've found that Pinaud Clubman and Clubman Bay Rum have the longest lasting scents after a shave (for me. YMMV). But, it's not a constant scent, per say. Yes, sometime after the shave, the scent remains. but it dissipates (like others). However, hours after applying, I often get a hint of the fragrance rising up again.

Proraso green aftershave is the only one I found I can use yet. Clubman and Gillette gave me headaches cause of the strong smells, to bad cause I really enjoy the feeling of Clubman but I just can't deal with the smell. I'm addicted to proraso now.

Hi Mark. I found my solution for clubman... I diluted it with witch hazel. (7wh:1clb) ratio. Kill all the strong smell and leave the good feeling.

Hi Mark. Ah, you like glass bottles. Mennen Skin Bracer, which is sold in many drugstores very cheaply in Switzerland, comes in glass bottles only. I did not even know, that they offered it in plastic too.
Patrick, folks actually look in antique stores and thrift shops for old Mennen skin bracer glass bottles (and other brands). Glass is simply better for long storage of after shave. I understand that plastic is safer, but there's something about more polished about glass.
So, don't throw away those glass bottles. I fear you might see the switch to plastic, too.
Oh man, I have always tossed these glass bottles into the glass recycling container. I have always taken it for granted to have after shaves and colognes in glass containers. I can't even think of one sold around here that is in a plastic container. Funny, isn't it?
So, may be I should collect these glass bottles, and... ... I don't know... ... give or sell them.

If you read some of the reviews on amazon, you'll see that glass bottles are sorely missed

Yes, plastic is safer. No doubt. But glass holds the scent better and has a much more polished look and feel.
Just amazing. I was not aware of all this. As I said, until now I took it for granted to have all the aftershaves, balms, colognes in glass containers. The only products that I have in plastic are Thayers and Pinaud Clubman, because they come from the USA.
I think from now on I shall find a spot in my cellar and store all empty glasses from aftershaves. Some day somebody will be happy to get them.

The Pinaud Clubman has a very distinct scent. It's a bit difficult to describe, but most wet shavers refer to it has and "old school barbershop" scent. It's quite fresh, though.
when I say it lasts all day, I mean that I'll get a hint of it re-surfacing many hours later. A nice reminder of my morning shave. Clubman's Bay Rum is the same way.:)
My older brother recently came back to the traditional wet shave. Even though he sports a thin beard, he wanted to shave his neck and get a nice crisp line. He now uses the Vikings Blade Chieftain Junior for this. Anyhow, I PIF'd him some shaving creams and soaps, etc. and threw in a bottle of Pinuad Clubman. He likes it a lot. But, just the other day, I asked his wife how SHE liked it. She LOVES the scent.:)

I love the scent and how great it feels! But the scent is quickly gone.
Speaking of which, two after shaves that come to mind are Clubman Pinaud and Clubman Bay Rum. Hours after my shave, the scent will re-emerge just a bit. Kinda neat.:)
It’s aftershave, not cologne. What do you expect?
I have several aftershaves that last almost as long as colognes. 30-60 minutes scent time is unacceptable.

@@stogiedude I personally haven't used this aftershave, but others have said it lasts longer than 30-60 minutes. Again, if you're looking for scent, that's not the primary goal of an aftershave.
