This was amazing. I used 0.5 kg ankle weights. That was still challenging.

Oh wow, I did an hour of your workouts! Enjoy every minute burn and yet not as tiring. I am kinda confused, should we do an intensive workout like HIIT or heavy-weight to lose weight or tone the body. Sometimes I dread tiring myself by doing intensive workouts.

Amazing! So glad you are enjoying them!
I personally stopped doing very intense workouts because I found them to be counter productive. You may burn more calories at the time, but they will spike your hunger, so you end up eating more anyway. Also, they can leave you feeling so fatigued that you end up having low energy for the rest of the day, which means you burn a lot less calories than if you felt great and had energy to be active the rest of the day. Another reason I stopped was because it was messing with my hormones. Very high intensity training spikes cortisol for too long, this is the stress hormone. If you flood your system with cortisol it will elevate your blood sugar, which means you won't be able to burn fat as effectively. So there are just a few reasons why too much HIIT isn't great.
In terms of heavy weight training. I am a firm believer that everyone is an individual and what works for some may not work for others. I do moderate weights on a regular basis, but I don't lift really heavy. Having said that, body weight exercises are also heavy lifting if you are lifting a lot of your body weight in exercises such as push ups etc. if you look at some disciplines such as ballet and martial arts, they have amazing muscle tone without lifting heavy weights.
Ultimately a workout has to be fun, otherwise you won't keep doing it. If you dread your workouts you won't be consistent with them and consistency trumps intensity every time imo.
And finally, listen to your body. Do what makes you feel good and try different things to see what results they give you. Use a journal to track how different types of exercise make you feel and look. Variety is key. Our bodies adapt very quickly. That's why you will find so many different styles of workout on my channel!

Yes, I am smiling when doing your workouts and after 3 workouts with you,I am still energetic!😄I guess you are right, I should be doing what makes me happy. HIIT and heavy weights made me fatigued overall. Yeah more to your workouts!

I did one of your workouts that was 30 minutes - mat abs and back
I loved it and did it several times.
Around the time you were hacked recently, it disappeared from my “likes” and I am not able to find it. Could you help me find it again?

Thank you so much!! Yes yes! That’s the one. It was so good and I wanted to share it with my friends who have mentioned they need to strengthen their back.
I loved the way you explained the breathing - it helped so much.
