How long did they last? Do you not cap the ends of your nails?
If one is looking to start seriously doing their nails, but the cost of one of these sets is making you hesitate, buying one of these kits is a FAR lower cost and gets you far more supplies, than trying to buy everything one at a time locally. Take the leap, buy the kit, they're honestly a good solid reasonably economical starter kit :-) I wish I had bought one what I was first into painting my nails.
No problem I had is when I would use the topcoat even if I put a seven layer on it would run and it would be all over my fingers and pilling and it would destroy my finger nails and my skin would start getting all sore and irritated
How long did it last?
Can I use regular nail polish in between the base and top coat?

Is it normal for the first layer to be sticky after you put the base coat on I could not tell if it cured or not
Nice paint job! You didn’t get it too thick, and you didn’t flood the cuticle area. I use this polish and love it. Enjoy!

Do you need to specifically have the beetles base and top coat, or could it be any kind
I believe it can be any kind I use different brand top/bottom coats with different brand polishes and don’t have any issues

I had the same reaction, but it didn’t burn that much

Your nails look so pretty. I'm watching videos on gel polish and uv light because I just got a beetle set and the same light you did, and when I put my hand in the light my nails hurt so bad. It felt like they were burning I took my had right out cuz I got scared lol I did end up putting it back in and finishing up my nails, but I want to know if that is normal? Hopefully you can answer or someone else that knows about this issue. Thanks! 🥰

How were you able to remove the polish?
I put my fingers inside of acetone (for a a few minutes) and then when i took it out, it was easy to take off!

@@pauleena8314 I have a question tho when you cured the polish after the top coat was it sticky or was it hard smooth and dry? Or did u have to use rubbing alcohol to remove the tacky layer?
