Awesome! You can also check out my video on textures th-cam.com/video/uS-8w2vkdxQ/w-d-xo.html and how to color them th-cam.com/video/y2_ianOyuoI/w-d-xo.html
I'm very glad you liked it! Come back for more, I publish videos every week and will try to show unique ways to work with many different air dry clays.
When working with air dry clay is almost impossible to make it completely waterproof. This vase is decorative project and I use it primarily for dry plants. However, if I want to use this vase for live plants, I'll put plastic or glass container inside to hold water. Also, same vase can be built from regular clay, glazed, and fired. This way it will be truly waterproof.
Thank you youtube for suggesting me this video... What a energy girl‼️‼️‼️

Perfect timing Mel! just started building some terrain for a Felucia styled board for SW Legion
I have only used old-school papier mache in the past.
Absolutamente maravilhosos! Parabéns!! Amei seus trabalhos! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤❤❤

Glad it was helpful!
So helpful for this underappreciated hobby. Thank you!
Thank you miss oasis, it was extremely helpful and informative 🤩😀
My pleasure 😊
btw I sometimes use PVA to help it stick to a non-porous surface like foam
Hot glue works well too
Im using Das for some of those giant flowers :D This will definitely help!
Very good 👍👏
Thank you very much
great.. will try similar :)
Definitely try it and if possible let me know about the result!
I tried on the second atempt using a fan-heater to speed up the process
Be very careful with speeding up drying process, clay might start cracking. All clays like to dry slowly
Ive applied Das to mdf and have left a damp cloth over it.
Would you consider comparing various kinds and brands of clay like Sculpty, Keto, etc?
Great idea! I will look into making air dry clays comparison video
Amazing! If you didn't show how you made it, I wouldn't believe it is possible
Thank you!
Бесподобно 👏👏👏👍
Спасибо! Заглядывайте еще!
is better to do it naturally on the air?
Of course, as long as weather allows
Beautiful piece of art! Can I use regular clay?
Yes, absolutely. Color it with oxides and underglazes
Is it possible to burn it like ceramic?
No, it will melt
How do you water proof it?
When working with air dry clay is almost impossible to make it completely waterproof. This vase is decorative project and I use it primarily for dry plants. However, if I want to use this vase for live plants, I'll put plastic or glass container inside to hold water.
Also, same vase can be built from regular clay, glazed, and fired. This way it will be truly waterproof.
Hello there👋can I use white clay to make an oil lamp? Thanks

Спасибо! Я рада, что видео понравилось! 👍
can I ask you something can you burn air dry clay?
If you fire air dry clay it will melt and burn out
Ive started playing with air dry clay (Jovi brand, made in Spain)
Jovi is very nice clay, I used it quite a bit. You might also like Activa Plus air dry clay, it also made in Spain.
Mix PVA into DAS before I use it- works a treat.🤳
I'll try it too
with given info I am hesitant if I should buy ceramic or air dry clay now....
If you have access to kiln to fire your projects, go for regular clay
I have a statue 15 inches tall how do I stick the clay to the wood to make a base?🤳
Usually, you need to place a rod in the bottom of statue and base and glue together. Without rod connection will be very fragile.
Legenda por favor
I added English captions, hopefully TH-cam will do a good job translating them. Please let me know if it works for you.
I am running out on things to say about clay baby, just saying.
