I am patiently waiting for my cat to fall asleep so that I can imprint his paws before and after clipping. Wish me luck LOL Thank you so much for firing up our imaginations.
So grab anything that doesn't move. Here's a few more I don't think I saw: curler, wax seals, edge of a coin or cap, glass bottle cap, wire bbq cleaner, any stiff sponge, ball of wadded up paper, pitted rock/stone, pieces of sea shell, nylon fuzzy yarns, virtually any kids toy, footprints from a plastic animal and on and on and on. This video took a lot of work and we are all amazed and deeply appreciative. For all gel press fanatics, you can use these after drying for imprinting your gel paint patterns.
Just started using air dry clay, and I was struggling with effects for cobbles, roofs etc, when I saw this and found out I could use my rubber stamps I had for years ! I found brick, blocks of srone, edging etc,, thank you for putting all these ideas in my head, I know I wont sleep tonight thinking of what else I can re discover in my art studio that I have had for years.
What a wonderful, succinct video, great compilation - even if you knew some, it is a great reminder... BTW when I was younger I bought oddments of knives, spoons, etc with interesting handles from carboots and charity shops and used them for impressions (and eating) ;)
Wow fantastic ideas! I’ve just bought air dry clay for the first time to make items for church Fayre. Thank you! For this brilliant video it will be so helpful for me 😊
I love the items that you use to create wonderful textures.....nothing goes to waste. Just goes to show what imagination can do to get effects that you want! Thank you for all of this, the ideas, and the methods....I've got lots to keep me busy now on these cold dreary winter months thanks to you! 👍😊💙
Love you video! I'm just getting into working with clay and I found your ideas very helpful:) I was wondering where I can find a flower rolling pin like the one you used?
Try Michael's Clay section if your are in US or Canada. Or, try going to a cake decorating shops. The one I have is very old already, bought it in a cake convention in the US.
@@anniecarmonalim8022thank you so much for replying. Ill try Michaels for sure.. by any chance would you be willing to sell yours if you don't use it anymore?
I bought that years ago. Try to look at cake decorating supplies (I'm a retired cake decorator). That is made of PVC plastic. Also try silicon mat with designs. Again under cake decorating supplies. :)
@@MD-sh2tn I bought mine more than 10 years ago at Country Kitchen Sugar Art. I'm not sure if they still have it. If not, go to cake decorating supplies webs. I'm a former pastry chef and most of my tools are for cake decors. Hope you find it.
