  • Bruce Miller, M.D., made key research insights into the neurobiology behind dementia. He specifically studies frontotemporal dementia, investigating what parts of the brain govern personality control mechanisms. In his keynote address, Miller speaks about innovations in caregiving and treatment - including nonmedical interventions -that can improve quality of life for patients with dementia.
The Oskar Fischer Lecture Series, led by The University of Texas at Austin’s Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences, is a campus-wide series featuring invited scholars working at the vanguard of new ideas on the mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment of dementing illnesses.

My spouse has dementia and has multiple symptoms on the list . He’s currently overeating .. he has exhibited lack of emotions , lack of empathy , lost speech , unable to order from a food menu for extended periods without provocation and encouragement.. the hardest part is when he wants to go somewhere I will get him in the car .. at first he has it in his mind where he wants ..but as soon as I ask where are we going he only gets out the ‘I wanna go to..’ and then he trails off having forgotten where.. I take over and add his favorite spots ‘Costco..? Target ? And then he picks from my prompts .

Ever heard of Therapeutic Ketosis? Keto is not a diet, it is a metabolic state. It has been proven effective in treating many different mental and overall health conditions. Don't trust your physician, dietitian or nutritionist to understand the therapy...their training curriculum was developed by corrupt pharmaceutical and food corporations 😮 I'm praying this message inspires YOU to keep believing there is hope, have faith not fear 🙏🙏🙏

What about p97/VCP mutations? VCP disease has TDP43 aggregates, lysosome and autophagy alteration, and 30% of patients have FTD, considering the misdiagnosed amount of patients it might be a big part of the unknown FTD.
