    Is sundowning also a symptom of bvFTD?

    • @TheAFTD
      @TheAFTD  5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Thank you for your question. "Sundowning," or late-day confusion, is a group of symptoms that can occur in the late afternoon and evening in any type of dementia, including FTD. Symptoms can include increased confusion, agitation or restlessness, and may be related to increased fatigue, low lighting or disruption of the body’s “internal clock." Should you have any additional questions about sundowning, or other symptoms of bvFTD, please reach out to AFTD’s HelpLine by phone: 866-507-7222 or email: info@theaftd.org.
