“Thanda Kariye…” EAM Jaishankar reveals PM Modi’s role in de-escalation of conflict b/w Iran-Israel

EAM Jaishankar on May 14 revealed how India reacted to the Iran-Israel conflict that raged in mid-April. He disclosed what PM Modi told him after Iran launched a retaliatory attack on Israel with drones, missiles. Jaishankar said that the PM had asked him to “urgently call both Govts” and urge them to agree to a ceasefire.
